An Introduction to Biblical Ethics: Walking in the Way of Wisdom

What is the meaning of the Sermon on the Mount? This book Explains
This book is awesome. It is very readable. The book does not go into a lot of philosophical jargon. This book explains what it means to live as a saved person in the twenty-first century. This is an awesome book to read with the Gospels and the entire New Testament. It can work as a commentary in a sense. I love reading it along side the Gospels. It is like an exposition of the Lord Jesus Christ's Sermon on the mount. It has also been a great resource for me in preparing Sunday school lessons. I have been teaching on the theme of being a Biblical disciple. I highly recommend this book for those who seek to know what it means to love God and neighbor. I really recommend this book for everyone. However, If you are looking for a book that goes into more philosophical detail, you should pick up Norman Geislers Christian Ethics

Great Reference!
This book is a great tool for a beginning study of Biblical ethics. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I am in an accelerated class which is using it as a textbook. I have had to read all 600 pages in 4 weeks, including Christmas and New Year's. I hope to reread it at a slower pace as my devotional after the class is over. There is so much good meat in this book which I think I will need to read several times to let it all sink in. I look forward to growing as I chew on it at a slower pace. I highly recommend.

Ok
Good introduction to a variety of issues, but lacking depth. This is only meant to be an introduction so I don't want to be too critical; however, there should be more footnotes and interaction with other views. Regardless I'm glad I read it, but I probably won't reference it much in the future.

A very well written introduction to Ethics. It's also great to see two scholars who respect each other and don't always agree.
