MINKA-AIREF619L-WHF Stout 54" Ceiling Fan with LED Light and Remote Control in Flat White Finish

I love Minka brand fans and this one lives up to the name. Looks beautiful, installation was straight forward and the fan has a lot of power, but is still quiet.

We purchased this ceiling fan to replace an old one that was failing. We had it professionally installed. The two guys that did the job didn't seem to have any problem installing it. The light is fairly bright, and the ventilation power is very satisfactory. The fan is also very quiet. Which is good because we're using it in our bedroom. It comes with a remote control and a holder that can be mounted on the wall. So far so good.

The fan is garbage. It’s not the shippers fault or anyone else’s, it’s the factory’s fault. When I installed the fan I found three stripped out screws that I went to great lengths to remove. They were just “temporary” screws on the motor body and hanger ball. The first one I drilled out and used pliers to remove. The next two were in the motor body, so drilling out wasn’t a good option. So I carefully used vice grips to work the screw backwards and forwards until they “mostly” came out. I still had to use compressed air and a vacuum to remove any metal shavings. The final straw came when I tried to put the brand new screws in those holes to hold on the fan blade assembly. They were too damaged and too thin of material to chase the threads. I threw it all in a dumpster and will buy something else. I won’t waste half a day repacking all this junk just to get a replacement or refund. I know that’s the game on some of these products, returning them wastes a full day of your time, so they make empty promises on “fixing” issues.

Great fan... Easy to install for a ceiling fan... Works great... quiet... Remote works well and there are plenty of speeds for fan and intensity of lite... Looks good too... Couldn't expect anything more from a $175 fan... A similar model at Lowes has fancier blades but it costs about $20 more...

We purchased five of these for separate bedrooms and living area in our house. All are working as they should. They seem to be built, sturdy, and operation is smooth and quiet.

Directions are a bit confusing for the average person- so many wires to connect if you want to use the remote
