Believe it or not, I bought this to make rotary platform to put my 5 gallon beer keg on in the fringe. The gas supply line coming through the wall of the fridge is short (no more than 8 inches) and leaves little for manipulation of the tap when trying to put it on a new keg full of beer. The twisting of the keg was difficult, and I could see it was going to wear through the plastic fridge bottom eventually (full 5 gal= 50lbs or so). The 8 inch size fit perfectly in the space, and now I effortlessly turn the keg while inserting the tap! Good quality construction, works great, quiet operation and no assembly required! A great product!

My retired wife loves doing jigsaw puzzles. She sometimes times finds it difficult to maneuver around the puzzle if it has a lot of pieces, depending upon where she’s working. I purchased a whiteboard which can be mounted on the turnstile so she can rotate the puzzle for easier access to the top or sides. It is a simple set up, but only cost about half the price of products available on the market used for that purpose. It rotates easily and works well. I purchased a larger one since she likes to put together 1000 piece puzzles. The one in the photo has a 12 inch ruler on it for size comparison.

I bought two pieces of 8” plexiglas and used this insert to make a swivel with some 1/2 M5 screws. Works fabulous. Is supporting about 60 pounds sitting on it and it swivels smooth and quiet. Figured out you can screw to both sides of it if you drill an access hole in the material you are screwing to it in order to tighten the screws on the second side. Well constructed. Bearings work great. Took out the plastic rubber feet to use the screws with a tiny washer. Works great as a component in a turn table. Quite pleased.

Seems okay out of the box. Doesn't turn and keep rotating, so it does take continuous turning to move it unlike other lazy susans where you can turn them and they keep going until you stop them. One thing I was disappointed with is it does not come with screws to attach it to a piece of wood. For this price point, I was hoping it would come with the hardware to finish my job. This is the reason for 4 stars. There's some cheaper alternatives on Amazon that looked to be similar but I don't really want to send this back and wait for another one.

Good heavy duty turntable. High quality. No assemble required. Great value for the money. No noise. Turns easily.

I've had the 8" version of this for almost three months. I purchased it for placement under a ficus plant I potted in a self-watering pot. I need to turn the plant each time I pour water into the reservoir spout – I can't leave it facing out all the time because the plant would grow unevenly. I first tested the rotation of the bearing, which was a little stiff, as expected. I then rotated it for about a minute to loosen the lubricant. It worked well, so I placed it under the heavy potted plant. I had selected the bearing size for maximum support without being able to see it under the pot. I can now rotate the plant freely without lifting it or scratching the table on which it sits. I am completely satisfied with the bearing, and can recommend it. With certainty, my application under a potted plant was made for it.

I gave this 5 stars because it's exactly as described. If you're buying it to use it for something besides a lazy Suzanne though, here are a few notes: The outer diameter is actually 7.875" instead of 8" exactly. So if this is a constraint, it may not work. If you're securely mounting it to two surfaces (instead of using the rubber feet on one surface) you'll need to use spacers between the rings and the mounting area because both inner and outer rings are the exact same thickness. This will cause friction while turning unless spacers are used. The bearing itself is good for the price point, but I wouldn't recommend it for any kind of industrial use, or something that is mechanized and will be turning constantly. There's too much play between the bearings and the races, and it would wear out quickly.
