Good family project before Christmas. Teaches patience in the little hands.

I wanted to love this kit, but there are too many tiny pieces that are more finicky to put together than they should be. The felt pieces were difficult to detach from the felt sheets. I needed to use scissors, which left odd lumps on some of the pieces and made smaller pieces not even worth cutting out (we used paint pens for the eyes for instance). There were a bunch of random craft materials in the bag that didn't really seem to go with the kits. And the backing was near impossible to get off without peeling off the adhesive. I ended up using my cricut weeding tool to get them off, which worked great, but wasn't something my kid could do. The included instructions were only slightly helpful, they could have broken it down more than they did, but I was happy something at least was included. I hope they improve the kits because the idea is great.

The stockings are cute but that is where it ends. Each of the tiny felt stickers are useless. They are not sticky. When you try to peel off the backing, the sticky comes right with them. The stickers themselves are not cute as pictured. You can hardly tell what they are. Total garbage. Do not waste your money.

The self-adhesive foam pieces are a bit tricky for little ones to detach from their squares, and the backing on the adhesive is hard for them to take off without removing the adhesive. Wish they included a graphic of suggested assembly of the felt cut outs as they’re all mixed together and not self-explanatory. Finished product is quite small (about the same size as a regular everyday sock). But they are really cute! We are getting glue and glitter to write names on the top.

The adhesive came off when taking the paper backing off on like 90% of the pieces, so that was frustrating to the kids. (We ended up using glue but that was not ideal..) Also some of the pieces were too thin and tiny and difficult to punch out and ripped. The stockings did turn out cute in the end though.

The stocking, string, and plastic needles are the best part of the item but the pieces to decorate the stocking that include the snowman, elf, Santa Claus, deer, gingerbread man, snowflake, stars, bells, and gift box are really time consuming to rip apart piece by piece and assemble together. The sticky part on the pieces also doesn't stay on. I would have return them for a refund to get my money back but I already used the stockings and made 2 with my kids and I ripped so many pieces apart for nothing!

The adhesives for the stick on parts for the stockings are nearly impossible to remove without stripping the product of adhesive. So pay 23 dollars and have a glue gun handy. This products stickers are not easy for adults or children. The sewing part is fun, that is only half the product. $10 product and it still wouldn't work.
