The Production of Reality: Essays and Readings on Social Interaction

I was forced to read this book by my professor as an asssignment. I was not looking foward to reading this at all but if you enjoy learning about social construct and consciouness , you'll definetely enjoy it. I mean I liked it enough to leave a review and thats saying something considering I haven't read as a kid and only prefered young adult fiction books.

As a college student I had to purchase this textbook for my class. I honestly just read the textbook if there are tests, quizzes or homework assigned for them (even then I still barely read them haha oops!), but this textbook was not only very interesting, it was written in a way that didn't confuse me like other texts I have read through my college career. It's an easy read and a great textbook, especially for psychology majors to keep around to refer back to for other classes. One of my favorite textbooks that has been assigned to me, I'm even going to purchase it because it has essays from various author's I can cite in future essays.

I used this class for an undergraduate class. I think it’s really interesting and helps you understand people more in general.

As soon as I opened the packaging for this book, pages immediately fell out.. The book looks and feels like someone smacked it repeatedly with a bat and left it out in the rain. Sure it's readable, but make sure you hold it very securely as it looks and feels like it is about to fall apart at any moment because there's a very real possibility that it will.

This book provides a very good overview of the content. The only criticism is that you are reading it through the methods and views of the author, which might give a more slanted outlook on self and social interaction.

There's a story on how to experience smoking weed, but its philosophical.

I bought it for class (Dr. O'Brien happened to be my professor) and found it to be very interesting. It's so good that I read it for fun!

Title is perfect, for there is a production going on and we are led to catch the many nuances and therefore to join in.
