ASICS Womens GEL-1140V

My wife got these shoes cause she stands all day for her job. She says they are comfy but its a little to tight right above the toe line. She might have wider feet I dunno but she says they work and are comfortable to wear all day. The color is a little off in the pic posted so I will post one of my own if I can. The toe color is more of a hot pink, way brighter than the pic. My wife liked that but don't know if other will. Other wise a great shoe overall she says.

First of all, the ASICS Gel-1140V are volleyball court shoes, and not running shoes as listed by Amazon. I'm not sure why Amazon has these marked incorrectly as running shoes on the product listing, but they are identical to all the other 1140V volleyball shoes sold by Amazon in several different colors. That being said, my daughter loves the 1140V's and has been playing in them for a couple seasons now, previously wearing the all black model and now going with the flashy hot pink and black model. She says they are very comfortable, have good stability and the soles have excellent grip on the court. She will be sticking with the 1140V's in the future.

I have trouble with blisters on my heel with enclosed shoes. A friend told me I should ALWAYS order a size larger for a running shoe. So....this time I did. Wow....usually wear a 8, so ordered a 9, which sounded so very large for me....but perfect to allow for walking/running. These shoes are SO comfortable....the BEST I have ever owned. Wish I would have known about these earlier...I have gone through a lot of running shoes over the years. I have never had such a COMFORTABLE shoe....the gel is so very comfortable. I love this hot pink & black....I will ALWAYS order these from now on. Great seller, prompt.

I know from experience ASICS fit my foot well, so I have no problem ordering on line. These shoes, however, exceeded my expectations in fit and comfort. I think these are the most comfortable ASICS style I have ever owned. They are like walking on a cloud. I ordered another pair, different style, at the same time but ended up returning them. Had I not had these shoes to compare to, I probably would have kept the other pair. If you are an ASICS customer, I think you'll love these, and if you've never worn ASICS before, these would be a great style to start with.

So I used asics when I was a cheerleader in high school and I liked how they fit so I thought these would make great workout shoes. They pinch everywhere and by the end of my workout, my arches hurt. The highlight of this shoe is the gel insole and its durablilty. The shoe is definately for a narrow foot however. If I bought a bigger size, they would have been perfect (or maybe if I would have gotten them in a wide; I'm not sure if they come in a wide though...).

I have always worn Ascics shoes to play volleyball, never knew they made walking shies. I was pleasantly surprised by these shoes. They were delivered on time and look exactly like the picture. I ordered half a size up for added comfort and I'm glad I did because they fit just right. They are extremely lightweight on your feet and don't hurt when walking or exercising. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend these shoes.

I have purchased ASICS running shoes for years but could no longer find the GT-2110's that I liked so much. Although the sole is not as wide at the heel, it is a comfortable shoe and suits me for running on the treadmill. I normally wear shoe size 8.5 but based on other reviews, I purchased a size 9. the extra half size was perfect. It has good arch support and has plenty of room at the toes.
