Garden Hose Repair Kit, Zinc and Aluminum Male and Female Hose End, Suitable for 3/4 Inch and 5/8 Inch Garden Hoses (2Sets)(2Female+2Male)

Used house mender to take 50' broken hose and turn it into 2 working hoses. It was a bit tough getting the female side of the hose all the way up the barb but I'm sure that's true of any of these barbed menders.

These connectors are as good as any in the hardware stores. They of course are made in China so it is not going to be as durable like anything else we are forced to purchase now days. Can’t find American made.

I repaired a hose end today with this and it was great. Solid materials and very easy to use. It may sound dumb, but I loved the screw heads that I could use a flathead or Phillips on and either worked equally well. If they provided o rings instead of flat rubber washers they'd deserve seven stars but the inclusion of the Teflon tape already gets them a six that I can't give them so I won't quibble.

The fitting are made out of machined brass, not stamped copper. These are very solid repair parts. They should out last the hose.

Got the same day, and fixed my hose in no time flat. Great quality, and even had teflon tape. Thank you.

All of my hoses had started leaking around the ends so I used these to replace each nozzle. No leaks! Definitely a much better option than buying new hoses!

Not sure if I like or dislike the hose repair kit yet because I haven’t used them, just arrived yesterday.

The product came in a box with NO directions at all. I had to figure it out which was not difficult but a few pictures would have helped. ended up having to do the repair two times because of a lack of instructions.
