Used it to run power up to a high ledge in our living room so we could add led strip lights. Works great, and the color blends in with the walls better than a black cable would.

Excellent Cord!

This cord is cheap (or at least it was when I bought it, one of the cheapest 3-wire, flat plug extension cords) but it's solid. As other reviews have said, it may be possible for the flat plug to be thinner, but it's really not that very thick. It's only slightly thicker than my baseboard and it requires far less space than a conventional plug would. It would be nice to choose the angle the cord comes away from the flat plug at, but other cords do that and cost more money. Overall a great value.

The cable on this extension comes off the plug at about a 45-degree angle, but whether it's to the left or to the right seems (based on others' answers to that question) to be random. The one I received is to the left (looking at it while plugged in), but many say theirs goes to the right. If that's critical for you, you may want to look elsewhere. For me, it wound up not mattering as I had two outlets to choose from, but I still deduct 1 star because you shouldn't have the roll the dice to determine if your plug faces one way or the other.FEATURES: The flat plug is intended to fit into areas where there's not enough space for a normal plug to protrude (in my case, behind a bookcase), and it fulfills this application well. The aforementioned 45-degree connection enables you to plug it into the upper plug of an outlet without having the wire come straight down and thereby block the lower plug, a potentially useful feature. An additional plus is that cord has the third prong for grounding. While this may or may not be necessary depending on what you're plugging into it, it's nice to have that feature in case it's needed. The female end has space for three plugs to go in, and they're reasonably spaced to allow access (two on one side, one on the other). If you're plugging in power adapters with boxes at the plug and grounding prongs, you may only be able to fit two.QUALITY: It seems sturdy and well made. It's UL listed, which is critical for any electrical product (unless you don't mind your house burning down). It fits snugly into the outlet, and plugs going into the female end are also snug. Quality and workmanship seem good: no frays, abrasions, loose fittings, gaps in insulation, etc.

I needed to move my specialty microwave for more counter space and this plug gives me peace of mind as far as safety and electricity to that appliance.

I didn't know these things existed but wow these are great. It's perfect because my kids beds lay right up against both of the outlets and I did not know how I would plug in the lamps without having that gap between the wall and bed which I did not want. I also feel that these are safer than the other 'slimline' extension cords that only has 2 prongs. Not sure what the deal is, but I hear this is safe and safety is a great concern especially in children's rooms.

I bought this because my teapot has a three-prong plug, and most household extension cords seem to be two-prong with no ground. I wasn't able to find another extension cord which wasn't the standard ugly orange color.My only complaint is that the plug is angled left (to be out of the way of a bottom outlet and be more flat), while my teapot is positioned to the right of the outlet. This means the wire has to kind of loop around itself to go to the right and ends up looking a little ugly. Not really a con, but might be helpful to somebody more intent on buying exactly what they want.

Bought this for an outlet behind a heavy cupboard. To save my elderly parents from removing contents from the cupboard then pull it out in order to get to the outlet, I use this instead and it works perfectly. This one in particular is good because it has 3 connectors which allows 3-prongs power adapters. Most of these flat plug extensions cord only allow 2-connectors.Overall I like it and if I ever need another one, I will purchase this again.

Good design -- sits flat so the cord doesn't get bent when there's furniture in front of it, and doesn't block the second outlet. Exactly what I needed to plug my stand lamp into an outlet behind my sofa. Shopped around and this is a good price as well.

Very good price and good quality wire. unfortunately needed something in between 6 and 12 feet, so returning it.
