Good solid made just the lid gets quite hot to touch when full have to use a cloth to open close to stir.

What a great teapot. 4 mugs pours well and especially happy that there is no dribbling!

When using a tea cosy the the handle and the lid do get hot.The teapot is a lovely design but the 1.7 ml we have is quite heavy when full should have gone for the smaller one but we get plenty of mugs of tea out of it 😊

An unbreakable teapot for a hot cuppa
As a tea-aholic, I am constantly breaking teapots, so this metal teapot is my solution. But also provides a delicious cuppa that remains hot through the second cup. Easy to clean to its gleaming finish. The 35oz is just the right size for two mugs of tea. Great buy.

Cheap but not cheerful
Despite the prominent mention of Sheffield on the box, this teapot is made in China. The Chinese make many excellent products, but this isn't one of them. Poorly fitting lid and low overall quality meant returning for a refund as per Amazon's usual no-quibble policy.
