KamikazeEuropa Karate Gi Uniform White 100% Cotton

I have owed and used the Kamikaze Gi for many years and the Europa is my favourite from the range. A good weight with plenty of room for movement plus good wearing, lasting for ages. I have worn and wash this new one about five or six times already and it now fits great. They always need a few washes to shrink just a bit. At the moment I have three, all the same that I wear in rotation, one in my kit bag, one in for washing and the other ironed and ready to go. I also have a famous Japanese Make of Gi but that is a spare, just in case the washing machine or the iron breaks down :-)

I’m 170cm, 75 kg.I asked for recommending me the apropriate gi, and get a answer in last than 10 min.My size was 4,5. 175.The quality of the Gi is great and love use it.It arrive only in 2 days. Much more sooner that suposed time.Love the service and absolutely recommend it.I’ll bye one more, as soon as I have little more money.

Brilliant gi... bought two... worth every penny! Comfy and roomy these gi's are expensive but worth every penny. Strongly recommended!

Solid Gi quite heavy and nice snap sound.I would expect it may get too hot in the summer, but it wicks well.Very nice Product, I would buy again

Happy with the quality and fit (6ft, bought the 185) although a touch on the long side in the bottoms.

I would always recommend Kamikaze karate gi's, they are the best in many ways.If you've never tried one, I would highly recommend you try one .... they have a great range to suit everyone's taste

You never know whether or not something is going to be the "right" fit while ordering online. Considering the pricetag and the overseas shipment from Spain I was a little nervous. Happily, my anxiety was unfounded because this Gi fits amazingly well! The cotton is smooth to the touch, the jacket never requires any readjustment and sweat seems to vanish on account of the design.I stand 5'8.5'' at 190lbs with a 41 chest and opted for a size 4.5.Happy training!

Okay,I just received the Kamikaze Europa today in the mail. I tried it on. I'm satisfied with it. Here's some helpful tips when purchasing this particular gi:1. It's a good idea to first know the measurements of any current gi that you own and that you feel fits the way you want. That is to say, have an idea of the trouser length, sleeve length, jacket length and jacket width (Note: I don't own any Kamikaze or Shureido gi. I used measurements from a really old "Kata" brand gi). Also, have an idea of your actual arm and leg length.2. DO NOT use the Kamikaze Europa sizing chart to determine your proper gi size. The chart is misleading and if I had followed it according to my height, weight and body type (5ft 7.5in; 145 lbs; Normal) I would have ended up purchasing their "size 5/180 cm" gi, and I would have been very disappointed at how extremely large it would have been (like one reviewer already found out). Instead, use their "MEASUREMENTS FOR KAMIKAZE AND SHUREIDO KARATE UNIFORMS" chart (which can be found by double clicking on the product image; a screen will pop out and you'll see where to click).3. Now, using the measurements of that old gi as well as your arm and leg length, compare that to what's listed on the "MEASUREMENTS..." chart mentioned above. Alas, if you're a silly American like me who doesn't use the metric system like the rest of the industrialized world, you'll have to convert the measurements listed on the chart. But after you've done so, you'll obviously get a good idea of how the Kamikaze Europa gi will compare to your old gi. When I did all this, I found that actually, instead of their recommended "size 5/180 cm" gi, it was the "size 3/160 cm" gi which most closely resembled the measurements I wanted (and which according to that misleading sizing chart is for people who weigh between 86 and 108 pounds!).4. Now of course, the "size 3/160 cm" gi I now have is not a completely "perfect" fit right out of the bag. I usually prefer to customize the sleeves and trousers to a shorter length anyway. But I know that once it's been hemmed, it will fit the way I want it to. A pleasant little surprise I discovered after carefully sizing everything up, is that the price I would have paid for a "size 5/180 cm" gi ($124.95, w/out shipping), went down to $90.95 (w/out shipping) for the "size 3/160 cm" gi. Coolness.5. So, having done all the things mentioned above, I'm now the satisfied owner of the most expensive gi this poor-ass karateka has ever owned (s***, I don't even wanna wear it now. I just wanna look at it). A final note, in case anybody was wondering about aesthetics: I have no idea about other Kamikaze gi, but compared to my old "Kata" brand gi, the Kamikaze Europa jacket top is noticeably longer (under the belt) and is definitely cut to be "roomy" and to have "freedom of movement" like the production description says. I think it looks good, but that's besides the point.Alright, I hope that helps another customer and saves them the trouble of having to return anything. Kamikaze Europa Karate Gi, es de una gran calidad, el material es muy bueno las costuras bien hechas, te da un estilo tradicional de Karate Do. Funciona muy bien como uniforme de entrenamiento diario, da muy buena libertad para kata, esto sin perder porte, se siente ligero para el kumite. Lo he estado usando y lavando sin notar que se encoja, así que se puede pedir la talla exacta sin riesgo, es original de la marca Kamikaze que es garantía. Agradezco el tiempo de entrega.

I have worn a Kamikaze Europa Karate Gi, for at least 20 years. It is well made with the karate practitioner in mind. I have used one in the winter in Canada and the hot summers in Jamaica. In both instances, the perspiration generated did not cause the Gi to be uncomfortable or clingy. I would recommend any of the Kamikae Gi. The Europa was the right weight for me.
