MeiMeiDa 36V 4.4AH Lithium Li-ion Battery Replacement

I was concerned when it arrived as it seemed to small. I have an IO Moonwalker hoverboard that wasn't working. I installed this, it fit fine, and fired right up. Easy to install and just what I needed. Also, great price compared to what else I could find.

I made sure the measurements would fit on this hoverboard. It has the same voltage but greater capacity, I used adhesive velcros to keep it in position and no cage (the older battery had a plastic casing around fewer 18650's). I much prefer this battery and capacity! So far it all works well as a replacement. Subject to change if it dies quickly but for now it is good.

Most people would buy this battery and slap it in the hoverboard and call it a day.. as it did work. But I have the equipment to do charge and discharge testing and first thing I did was to evaluate the capacity to be as advertised. After several cycles of testing I was very disappointed to find that it only produced 2.2 - 2.3 ah of energy. This could be a one-off bad unit, but beware.. they must not be testing their product to meet specifications before shipping them out!

My grandson's Hover-1 Ultra Hoverboard needed a new battery and Hover-1 was out of stock. This battery looked just like the one in his hoverboard, so we bought it. The only partial negative is that it is just a bit taller than the original battery, so it didn't fit perfectly into the location. The bracket that holds the battery down, didn't quite attach as before. But, it did hold the battery and the hoverboard cover/panel fit back on just fine. It's been a few weeks now and the battery is holding up well.The battery size isn't a fault of the seller, as they (as I recall) didn't advertise it to be a replacement battery for the Ultra. I'm just glad that it fit.

we had an older hover board that needed a new battery . we ordered this one. it works fine in his board but is a bit taller than the original battery. we could not screw the "cage" down in place. doesn't seem to be making a difference but just as an FYI

I’ve bought 2 of these, installed in a Razor electric scooter, and have been using it lightly for about 3 weeks. The batteries charge quickly, to about 41v, they deliver power well (like, on hills), and they hold charge. So far, they’re excellent batteries. The fact that they charge up to 41v and hold it well suggest to my that the seller is telling the truth about them being made from new cells. These cost about $10 more than buying a “brand new” equivalent on eBay, but I think the reliability of the product may be worth the extra expense.

I bought my son a hoverboard over a year or 2 ago and we could not figure out why it stopped working he only rode it one time we purchased a new charger a while back thinking it was that but no once did we think about the battery till we found a place that could fix it and he told us off bat its the battery once we put it in everything started working again thank you jesus for this battery!

I bought this for an ebike application. It's $67 price was attractive compared to other ebike batteries ($150-250). It's Amp-Hour rating of 4.4 AH is much lower than those other batteries (10-12 AH). But was sufficient for my local, recreational (non-commuting) use. It is wrapped in slick shrink wrap making it hard to mount to anything. It is also an awkward shape (2.2" x2.8" x 5.3") making it a challenge to find space for it. I did find, to my surprise,, that hot glue adheres very well to the shrink wrap so I got it mounted using glued on Velcro straps.
