This had 5 stars until today, but I still have to give it 1 star SO YOU WILL READ and because of the trouble it can get a baby in. My daughter is 12 months old, quite tall (99 percentile) and medium weight (50 percentile). Just so you have have reference for your own baby. So my son has this forklift toy that when my daughter sees it, let’s just say she’ll stop what she’s doing to get to it. Before my very eyes, she flipped the chair forward in a controlled manner. Her arms were like she was doing a push up, so I know she’s been thinking about this for a while. Thank goodness—the chair didn’t throw her over or anything face forward, but it was attached to her like a turtle shell. She then crawls to the forklift like nothing ever happened, I unsnap her. I carry the chair to the basement, never to be seen again. If she was a heavier baby this would have happened earlier. Great for small baby. Beware beyond 15 pounds. With the right leverage and motivation, easily flipping over.

My daughter had the chance to test this rocker while she was hospitalized the first month of her life due to an undiagnosed heart condition. She absolutely loved it. Either she wanted to sit in her rocker or be held!Once we got home with her we did not have a rocker like it for her to sit in, but we did have an Ingenuity bouncer. At first she didn't like her bouncer but she grew to love it and it would be the only thing to calm her down besides holding her. Sadly the bouncer broke at the base and unfortunately could not be salvaged, so I threw it out and started searching for a replacement. First I looked at bouncers. Any that would be an equal replacement would set us back at least $69.99. And she would only be able to use it up to 25 lbs. Then I remembered her using this bouncer in the hospital and decided that would be a great buy. At least $20 cheaper and she can use it until she is a couple years old. 👍👍Ok I am giving this rocker 5 out of 5 stars because it is a great rocker, it is not a bouncer and that would be it's biggest con but it is not marketed as a bouncer.I would love for it to rock automatically, but it does vibrate which my daughter loves just as much as bouncing. It has two lounging positions, one at an almost 90 degree angle and one more at a 180 degree angle. There is a kickstand on the rocker to make it stationary. When I have this rocker on a thick carpet it is stationary all on it's own, but the kickstand is useful on hardwood or linoleum flooring. The padding is vibrant and beautiful. It will be easy to clean just pop it into the washing machine. The toy bar is cute, a little flimsy, and my daughter won't be able to reach it until she is much older.Bottom line: Great buy for the price and what my daughter needs it for. She can relax, nap, play and feed in it for more than a few months. It's easy to move around the house. Only takes 2 C batteries to vibrate instead of 3 C batteries for most bouncers. Definitely worth it!

Lovely item for a newborn and a toddler... My newborn enjoyed it until she was getting to the toddler stage... Had to donate it to a lovely family... And the cloth is easy to detach and wash...

My wife and I are happy so far with this purchase.We got this for our recently born daughter. With the numerous features on this chair and the room for growth later in life, my wife and I were excited for this purchase. So far, we haven't been disappointed.I really like how the kick-stand pops out so the rocker is parallel to the floor for sleeping and/or fan watching (our daughter seems mesmerized by watching our ceiling fans). The kick-stand easily retracts and now the rocker is able to position the baby in a slight upright position for observing and watching what's going on in front of her/him. I did, however, find that if you don't use the restraint (particularly for infants), they may fall to the side depending on if they are able to hold their head and/or torso up. Additionally, we try to be sure that if our daughter is in the rocker, that she is wearing the restraint... rather be safe than sorry.We are also looking forward to this rocker turning into a chair for our daughter as she gets older. We are big fans of the floral design and think it will be a nice addition to her room and/or our play area for reading, viewing or simply relaxing. Anytime you can get a product that grows with your infant is a win in my book.Lastly, the vibrating portion of this chair is nice and does exactly as intended and as you might expect. It isn't loud and doesn't seem to eat through batteries, which if you have children, (and you probably do if you're reading this review), you know that everything requires batteries these days.In closing, there have been some comments and/or concerns about this rocker flipping forward, but neither my wife nor I have noticed any concerns thus far that would make us think this would tip forward. Granted, our daughter doesn't make a lot of movement yet, but I feel like the two front projecting pieces would ensure the rocker doesn't flip forward. I will modify this review if anything changes in regard to flipping forward.Overall, we like this purchase and we would recommend.Hopefully you found this review helpful.
