Screw is definitely poor quality, but for the price, this will work for most applications
I read all the reviews for this before purchasing. Because my application for the device was static, I decided to give it a try. Received the item. Definitely very poor quality metal on the screw, but I knew this from the other reviews. So I was very careful when attaching my big Alexa Echo. Works fine. Just be careful when you install your device. I would not recommend this product of you think you are ever going to have to pivot or move the device screwed into it. But if it's just going to sit there forever, it should be fine.

Cheaply made
This is cheap and you get what you pay for. The screws all snapped and I had to find other screws for it. The threaded part of the mount where you are supposed to screw into the Arlo is just as bad. It bent super easy when I was trying to adjust. The ball and joint part is painted over so super stiff. When i permanently hardwire in a charger, the mount doesn’t work as well because the white circular thing on it to tighten runs right onto the charger and won’t screw in very far.Overall, I do NOT recommend this product. Spend a little more and get better quality
