Bol-Wax No. 1 Heavy Duty, Standard Wax Ring Without Flange, 5-1/2 in OD

I gave a hard firm push of my thumb into the wax - it barely made a dent. This made me concerned that the wax was too hard or dry and not pliable enough that therefore might not make a good seal. I bought another wax ring at the local big box store and was able to easily make a dent. So I returned this one.
