Red Thorns: A Dark New Adult Romance

I'm finding that the more books I read by Rina the more I love them. I don't want to come over as some gushing ninny, but her writing really is that good!!So yes I recommend this book and all of the others she's written too!!I've read most of them now and can say that she really does tackle the hard issues, whereas other authors shy away from them.Even the taboo of sex that isn't seen as being "the norm!!" Because of both of these combined, it makes Rina's books more gripping and biting. She really is an all rounder as far as authors go! !

This was a great start building up Sebastian and Naomi's relationship along with the additional subplot that gives this book a bit more. I cannot wait for the second book and see what happens between both the two main characters and the additional subplot conclusion.

This is something else. The fact about Rina?! Her mind is insane! And I'm here for it. This is the story of 2 young souls who find their other half in their own crazy and wounded souls.

I enjoyed this book as it was a rare raw telling of how two people who share the same outlook on sex come together for what it means to them. I am really looking forward to Thursday when I can read the culmination of their true but twisted story

Welcome to the dark side . This story is really good But yes it is well padded out ,which seems to be the case with duets and Trilogy 's . But I'm ready for the conclusion now which hopefully one a good one .

I wasn't totally sold in this book but devoured it in a day. College setting, bully romance with a dark side. I am waiting to see if my theory about Akira is correct and after the cliff hanger ending I need to know what happens to our FMC and MIC respectively.Do I want a HEA for Naomi and Sebastian? I'm not sure... I should. I know that is the natural progression but I need more before I think he deserves her.

I'm new to the author, and will definitely be adding the rest of her books to my TBR!I was recommended this duet when looking for CNC books. They can be difficult to find, and this one ticked all the boxes.I could not put this down. The feelings, the writing, the steam...it was just perfection. This isnt an easy book to read especially as these are college kids who seem to prefer the sort of sex that is sadistic. Sebastian is the star QB, a handsome guy and from old money but he is controlled by is grandfather who expects him to go into politics and drop the sport. He has serious issues that he manages to keep hidden most of the time. Naomi is new the this college and doesnt ride with the in crowd. A bet is made and Sebastian lets his sadistic side come out finding Naomi and very willing partner. He is shocked how much he wants her and the sex is vicious. Her mother is dying and she finds out about the bet but Sebastian feels she is his partner in life and will not allow her to get away. Danger comes though. Intense read.

Another well written story. I love the cliffhanger that ended in this book!!!! I can’t wait to read the next book of the series.

“To your deepest, darkest fantasies.”(I’d say r*** fantasies are pretty dark to anyone that disagrees.)Two consenting adults engaging in their twisted fantasies & giving into their primal needs.Sebastian & Naomi are uniquely different yet the same, their chemistry is explosive and nothing else matters.Bet turned into a disaster is an understatement but up until that moment we are gifted with numerous scenes between a beast & his toy.In between all the spice there’s mystery & suspense clouding both the star quarterback & his tsundere.I can’t wait to finish this duet & have the answers to the many questions my brain has🖤

I read this book twice and listened to the Audio book.At first you think it's just a cliche book about football player and cheerleader, but then the more you read the more you're surprised how rich this story is and how deep the characters are.This book is rated by me as "Book you can't stop reading" Because I didn't think about anything else besides reading this book.he surprised me, best hot ever, seriously u are shocked by this couple they catch fire together and i'm here for home second of that.-Naomi won me over in the first chapter for being a bitch and I love it, I love being sarcastic, I love everything about Naomi except the way she treats her mother.- Seb he is mine I love him so much, my god and in the second book even more.Best sex scenes, best chemistry, I love how much they aren't afraid to be who they are and going after what makes them happy.the ending is OMG

Rina never fails to amaze me with her storylines and great characters!! This one was more into the taboo side, still it kept my attention until the last chapter. Sebastian and Naomi are such a hot couple and have amazing chemistry!!If you don't mind dubious consent/kinky s*x, go ahead and read it!!

Not the best. I didn’t feel a real connection between the MCs. There was something missing. But still good. I’ll read the second one.
