When I first discovered these tees, I was advised by our pro that they were illegal so I did not use them in tournaments. Later when we got a nicer pro, he laughed when I told him and agreed that they were perfectly legal. They are great for older people and I tell all my retired friends who have taken up golf daily to try them. They last a long time and are wonderful, wonderful.

These tees are easy to use. I seem to hit the ball more squarely because the tee opens up in front if you hit the ball through the gap. I am an easy sell for golf improvement devices, but these are definitely worth buying.

UPDATE: 2 seasons later and my folks still have all 5 tees each. I just ordered 2 more packs because their golfing friends tried them and want some too but they cannot find them locally. BTW, my folks play every Monday in a 9 hole league from May to September. 0 tees broken. 0 tees lost. They do not use them on par 3s.My folks love this tee, 77 and 84 years young. Hands aren't as steady as they used to be and I noticed them having issues with regular tees.Just remember to put the gap on the head of the tee pointing towards your club. Otherwise, you'll be looking for the tee in the grass in front of you.

These tees are so helpful for senior golfers or those with health issues. They help you hit straighter and drive farther.

I would not recommend these tees. I was very disappointed what happened. I shared my tees with the other members of my foursome. We followed the instructions shown on the card. On the 1st tee, one players tee broke when he teed off. On the second hole, two players broke when they teed off. On the third hole another player broke a second tee. To sum it up, we broke four tees on thefirst three holes. I believe that using these tees (about $2.00/tee) could be expensive. Did we do something wrong?

Eliminated the fear that i might have difficulty in teeing up because of intentional shake.
