A really excellent book

Presents amazingly the method to apply the Six Sigma Strategy with relevant examples!

Not a tool-book, but a very interesting and deep lecture on how a company can change its way of being thanks to a new dismountling methodology for business-driven excellence. This book can help to interpretate the real and effective attitude anyone should have in implementing a Breakthrough methodology like Six sigma.

I had a copy from bookmooch and gave it away. I missed my book so much, I bought another copy. It has the Z table in the back. This helped me to get through some courses on quality statistics and six sigma. The book helped me to understand things like cpk and process capability. I also like some of the last chapters where you find "what makes a bad boss". I actually quoted this to the bosses one day. They were being obnoxious. They realized it was true to. This book helps people on all levels of six sigma find the way to succeed.

QCの発展形態としてのSix Sigmaの入門書。徳丸壮也氏の「日本的経営の興亡：ＴＱＣはわれわれに何をもたらしたのか」1999　ダイヤモンド社と併せて読めば、TQCとSix Sigmaの違いがよく分かり、なぜ、GEを始めグローバルカンパニーが日本企業を凌駕したかがわかる。Six SigmaとはTQCを理論化し、グローバルに通用ツールに仕上げたもので、日本のTQCの失敗を踏まえたものである。
