I just used these in a move to mark all my cables used with my DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) music recording desk. They work well using ball point pen. Because they're Velcro, they are easy to use. And if you change your mind about what the cable is being used for, the Velcro makes it easy to remove and attach to another cable. Great solution to organize a setup.

Very handy way to identify cables and cords so that you can easily see which is which from a distance. Even if you don't mark the tabs, you can set up your own coding system (e.g. one color for speaker cables, another for mic cables, etc) that's very helpful.

This should do exactly what it is meant to do - provide a cheap, removable/adjustable way to label and color-code cords or any other thin items you can wrap this around. The colors are vibrant and easy to see even in a dim areas, like under a desk. The velcro isn't a particularly high-quality, clean looking velcro - it's what you'd expect for the price and perfectly fine to do its job. The back of these are simply the back of the velcro without any sort of coating, so they're rough and can look a bit cheap. The edges can look a bit messy. I would recommend measuring and cutting out the size based on the measurements to make sure they'll fit your needs. I had checked the size before purchase, but these still ended up being larger than expected. I'm sure it's a fine size for some people, particularly if you want something with an easily readable sized label, but I had been hoping to use them on travel charging cords. For that, they're a little too big and bulky to carry around regularly.

I bought this set of "50 Pieces Cable Labels Multi-Color Cord Labels" from the Outus Store on Amazon. I bought the Classic Style, and like them better than other styles and brands I've tried. They come in a handy zip-top bag, and I've used most of them. Gone are the days when I wasted time matching cords with gadgets. When a new electronic device comes into my house, the cord gets one of these velcro labels before it's even plugged in. They're easy to write on with a Sharpie. The many colors also help with organizing cords. The only problem they've given me is that people often notice and like them, so I've given away an awful lot of them and need to buy more. Other than that, life is simpler with these sturdy labels.

This is the best size for my purposes. It is big enough to label pretty much everything. I wish it was a bit smaller, but all others I found are larger. The material holds in well and does not bleed. The Velcro extends into the section that holds the cable itself, which stops it from slipping down, keeping the label in place you want it. I suggest the all white version as the darker colors cause the writing to be harder to read. This may explain some using stickers on the labels.

I have organized and color coded my office cables and am now getting ready to use the them for aquarium cables. Easy to use and saves time when looking for that one cable.
