I recently purchased a new Beauty Blender and the Pony Effect Block Sponge and they arrived on the exact same day. I was literally able to do a side by side comparison of the two and found Pony Effect's sponges to be far more superior than Beauty Blender (and I've been using BB for years!). I like to use my sponges wet and the PE sponges absorbed and increased significantly in size, just like BB. What I like more in the PE sponges is that the material is dense, yet soft for smooth and easy make up application. When using foundation, the make up remains pretty superficial within the sponge so I can dab all over my face and see foundation being applied on my skin; I feel like BB soaks up 50% of my make up (what a waste!) and doesn't provide as full of coverage. I discovered that the trick to using these sponges is to dab and "bounce", rather than wiping or using a sliding motion. It allows for better coverage and a smoother finish. While I do like the egg-shape of the BB (easier to get into creases), I'm able to use to corners of the PE sponge just as effectively. For half the price of 1 BB, I got 7 PE sponges! I feel like this is much more sanitary in the long run too. This is a great value for a quality product. Just gave a few sponges to my mom since there's more than enough to share!

I’ve been following Pony forever and have always wanted to try her products. I decided to try this sponge because you can never fail with that but this has brought my makeup skills to another level! I love how you can use it both wet and dry. I was always hesitant about usong sponges because in my mind sponges always soaked up a lot of the prodcut but this sponge doesn’t do that as much as other sponges.

Feels expensive & works better than a Beauty Blender. I use this to blend out my concealer. The shape fits perfectly between my cheek and nose. Smooths out product evenly across my face - no blotchiness. It’s squishy but firm so comfortable to dab on my face. I like to use the flat side even out foundation all over my face. The round bottom is perfect for making sure my cream contour blends into my foundation. I will buy again.

These were used with the Georgio Armani foundation. The different shapes really help with applying the foundation. I tried them both wet and dry and the wet is similar to beauty blender products in sponginess. My makeup stayed on about 8 hours without any dryness or flaking. I’d recommend giving these a try as they’re easy to use and easy to store.

The best puff ever! I’ve tried so many and I keep coming back to this one. I use this either wet or dry though I prefer it with a spritz of water to dampen it. Applying foundation (liquid or cream) has never been easier and the finish is beautiful! I think pads are so much easier to clean than sponges.

Very disappointed to receive an opened , unsealed box with HALF of the sponge missing. Instead of entire block with 6 divided parts I only received half a block with 3 parts. Returned for a refund. Not sure if I would take a chance to try to repurchase a new one.

So I really enjoy these! They’re soft, bouncy, and I love the different shapes that can easily blend areas like the nose and eyes. However I feel like they absorb a lot of product.

There is no problem with the quality of the product.But，The distribution service is terrible. The first time I received an empty box with nothing in it. Then I contacted the customer service and asked me to take the empty box to Whole Foods，I did it. The next day I received a new one but no lid.😂 How did this happen twice? I just want a complete one!
