McFarlane Toys The Princess Bride Princess Buttercup in Red Dress 7" Action Figure with Accessory

I was originally worried when I ordered this Fessik (from Princess Bride) mega-fig (I worried that it was advertised as a "7 inch" figure), but was pleasantly surprised at the sheer size of this figure! He is truly to 7 inch scale with other 7 inch figures! As he should, my Fissik towers above my other 7 inch scale figures at more than 9 inches tall! He's frellin' awesome! Fessik is pictured here with my Witcher III: Wildhunt Teal Viper Armoured Gerault figure for scale. Now I just need to get the other Princess Bride figures to round out my collection!

I love these action figures! I have a few of them, now, and am not disappointed at all. Westley has decent articulation, his features look like Westley, and he comes with his sword and a stand that will help you pose him in more delicate poses like running and stuff. I use him in a dollhouse saloon along with other characters from Princess Bride, the Witcher, Back to the Future, etc, and use them to represent different old west type figures. For example, I made a BRUTE SQUAD badge for Fezzic and gave him a cowboy hat and keys, and he is the sheriff. Since Westley is in his mask, he is going to be a bank robber sitting in a jail cell. Buttercup is a dancer, Doc Brown is a piano player, Marty McFly plays poker, etc. Lots of fun. This figure is very poseable and works well for creating different scenarios.

Buttercup being using as a cake topper but didn't want to get the dress messy, so I used a toothpick to tuck dress into her hand a few times. Wesley will balance on his head and hands so in the epic scene position. Will push him closer when it's time to present the cake

This is an amazing likeness and finally got cool princess bride swag. Love em all

Inigo is almost real in your hands, the sword is beautiful, his clothing is molded but textured, looks better overall anyway. The only things idve liked more is another accessory or head, and the sword to have been even more detailed and a shinier paint. BUT for $25 i understand completely. Buy today

I've waited a long time for Princess Bride figures and these don't dissapoint! The only drawback I can see is the material used for the sword itself. Mine arrived quite straight but I have seen a few that needed to be heated up and straightened which is easy enough. If you prefer to keep your figures in the box, know that Amazon send this in a bag and not a box so the packaging was a bit dinged up. However, that is more on Amazon than a reflection of the actual product.If you're a fan of the film (and who wouldn't be?) then you will love these figures!

The figure is nicely done . The sculpt is very faithful to the movie character . It has many points of articulation making it very poseable . It comes with a base to help it stand and just one accessory ( a sword ) .The handling was very poor by the distributor . The packaging was damaged at some points . People buy this figures to keep them in the box as collectibles , this should be considered when shipping .
