11ft Rod snapped on first day of use
I used this fishing rod for one day using a 24 gram spinner and it snapped in the middle section. The rod says it was suitable for 15G-40G. The rod itself felt very fragile. Unlike any rod i use used before. I felt that it should never have happened with the weight i was using and the cast wasn't any stronger than what i had been doing for the day. The rod looked in perfect condition and wasn't damaged before the cast. I have been fishing for over 20 year and have never seen that happen.

It broke on the second outing
I had read reviews of this rod breaking after a little use but thought the manufacturer would have sorted the issue by now. Apparently not.This rod is rated up to 35 gramms but snapped while I was casting a 28 gram lure. It was only my second outing with the rod.On the plus side, I spoke to a very nice young lady at Amazon who emailed me the relevant labels to return it free of charge for a refund.Very disappointed as Abu Garcia used to be a solid manufacturer and I have other gear of theirs that has served me for years, but this rod has definitely damaged their reputation with me.

Great rods
These are good rods I have had great service from rods and reels for many years and I'm sure this one will fit in nicely with my others . Good quality as usual and good sturdy tube my only gripe is the lack of alignment dots but I'm happy to over look this . Can't see how some reviews are so negetive my 8ft coped with an 18lb pike no probs so for £50 it's a real no brainer .hope this helps.

After 2 fishing sessions this rod snapped.
I bought this road at the end of August 21. I used it twice and it seemed well made. When I put it together the 3rd time in October 21 it was cracked and then snapped. Total rip off.

Brilliant
The delivery was quick the quality is very good and it’s action is great. I now have both the 10 foot and the 11.6 foot rods.
