OK. Let’s just get it out of the way. The thing looks like an alien’s spinal column & I look dorky as hell using it.Fine. Whatever. It’s FUN & gets my heart rate going! I’m a big girl, over 200 lbs & there are way more links than I need included with the device.I realized quickly that it needs to be snug around the waist. Like those jeans that are slightly too small & while they look ok, you’re secretly suffering every time you have to sit down while wearing them. Nearly uncomfortably snug. And sitting level on your waist. If you’re using it & it feels like it’s moving, remove one more link.It works best for me when I stand with my legs shoulder-width apart. I started by rocking my hips which became a full on spiral & then watched that weight fly!I’ve always wanted to “hoop” but could never get the hang of it. This makes it easy & you get all of the exercise benefits. I’m hoping, with practice, to graduate to a real hula hoop. Meanwhile, I’m having fun & getting exercise.

Size info: Definitely made for us plus size ladies. I’m about 40” around the smallest part of my waist and still have 7 extra links left over that i took off. From my calculations and measurements, it appears the maximum waist this can fit around is about 52”. Im 5’9” and 235-240lbs for reference.Review:First, its really well made and feels like quality materials. Second, im undecided about it. Its fun, im just not sure if this works/helps like it claims to. The motion is not your usual hoola-hoop movement, more of a “bend in the knees” to rock front to back. Cant get it to go very long when rocking side to side but maybe need more practice. The trick is to have it fit fairly tight so the track has tension. Wish it had different weighted ball options. Got a little sweat going after 10 minutes so I’ll need to try longer and hope it does something for me!

Item was received as described. Color was the one I ordered and matched the one in the picture. It was very easy to assemble and that's pretty much where the easy stopped LOL. I have tried since I received it to get the correct rhythm to keep it going round and round... Haven't found that yet but I keep trying. It is a bit difficult for some people to learn to use whereas my daughter put it on and was able to do it immediately.

When I first got this I couldn't swing the weight around. I had another one I had previously purchased and switched the weights (the other one was lighter) and it works beautifully! The tracks are much better than the one I first purchased but the weight was too much for me. I'm glad this wasn't the first one I got because I would of thought the whole thing was silly.I'm excited to get the point I can use the heavier weight. If the amount of weight matters it would be nice to have some way to add weight as I get better at this. I have seen weighted rings you can add on another product but of course cannot find it now. Not sure how much the amount of weight matters to weight loss....still in the beginning of my journey.

Let’s be real now we all seen the 8.5/10 of us see this on TIK tok and decided to go ahead and purchase this to get a few inches off I think it’s fun I do it indoors and give myself some space and watch Tv while doing the exercise or music I would buy again extremely affordable

Alright so yes! It uses your legs and knees unto you get the hang of out and yes you're utilizing those parts of your body so you're going to feel it there. It also uses your hips and stomach and yes even your arms because until you've gotten the hang of it, you'll be swinging the dang thing around and around and around.However, I'm plus size and have a belt and did NOT have to use all of those links!!! I was pleasantly surprised by that. So if you're holding back because you're afraid you won't fit, try it.I'm short, like barely 5'2 and had to shorten that weight quite a bit in order to be able to swing it around. 😅 otherwise that would have never worked.I'll let you know how it's helped (or not) on my weight loss journey in a couple to a few months. As of right now...I feel it EVERYWHERE.

So I just picked this up from the post office today and I am instantly impressed. It requires a bit of a learning curve but when you get the hang of it, it really is fun. My sister tried using it and she also agrees with me. Bit of a background: I suffered with osteoarthritis in my left knee for years (despite being in my mid-20s) and developed PCOS in the last 2 - 3 years which has lead to some rapid weight gain (despite having a healthy diet and not being sedentary). Ultimately, my knee difficulties have worsened as a result. I've tried regular, low-impact cardio but it still leaves me in significant pain so I bought this because 1. I need a low-intensity exercise routine and 2. I don't know how to hula-hoop. Overall, I feel like this is great investment. It came with 4 additional links and replacement parts for the links and was a dream to assemble. The 24 links did fit but was a bit tight so I am using a total of 25 links. I noticed some people were saying that they only got 24 links and I almost made that mistake myself. Some colours come with 28 links and others come with only 24, the only way it seems you can verify the amount is by adding it to your cart and that's where you'll see for sure if the colour comes with 28 links or 24 links. For sure I know the purple (which is what I ordered) and the orange come with 28 links. Definitely an issue with the product description which should be correct because it looks like it has caused some confusion for some customers. Also it makes a bit of noise but it doesn't concern me at all. But overall, have to say that, although this is my first day using it, I am enjoying it a lot. I will definitely be back in about 2 weeks to give a solid update on whether or not it is an effective for weight loss.
