Big Book of Things to Spot

Good value with lots of spotting pages
It’s certainly a very good value buy. In terms of the range of subjects covered it’s quite interesting. My three year old is really into things like this, but for him the objects to spot were too easy to find. It’s just a case of counting them so it hasn’t really held his interest.

Look! Look!
My daughter and I have had a lovely time spotting all the different things in this book. It works as a really nice jumping-off point for imaginative conversations as well because you can make up stories about all the animals and people in the pictures and ask your child what they think is going on, what's going to happen next etc. My daughter isn't a big chatterer, so using this book is hopefully going to work on her verbal skills a bit.

Great book
Bought as a gift for a 3 year old after having the same for my (now older) sons. Brilliant book to read with your kids and practice numbers and words. Equally good for having on car journeys or in your bag for boring appointments!

Too much going on
The idea is fab but the book is too distracting. Too much going on in each page.

Great fun for kids
We have several of the Things to Spot titles and they prove ever popular with my 3 boys. I have found them very useful when they are starting to rote count and are moving on to recognise numbers and count properly. Each double page scene is beautifully illustrated with plenty to count, observe and discuss. The books can be dipped into for a few minutes at a time or we have been known to have to ration the number of pages to be counted before lights out! Definitely recommend for children from pre school to 9+
