I needed this for a campsite that did not have firepits but also did not allow burning directly on the grass. this pit is STURDY, easy to put together, and keeps the fire contained. definitely worth the money for the two car events we go to that we camp for 2 nights at! heavy but folds small so is easy portable.

I bought this for a particular purpose. It’s collapsible and portable. I put it under my camp cooking setup and it works great. It’s cheap but made from heavy material and well worth the money. It’s has a good zippered carrying bag that fits almost anywhere including a backpack. I’m definitely satisfied.

It’s easy to install and take down, awesome carrying case. Worked really well !

We used this for a camping trip and it was the best thing! Although it is compact it’s heavy duty. The fire pit is easy to clean and takes seconds to assemble and disassemble. I’m sure we will get plenty of use out of this!

I bought this mostly because I compost everything compostable, and I have found that glossy magazines take a long time to compost, and are still largely uncomposted, even when shredded, long after the shredded cardboard and newspaper have been composted. Still, I hate dumping them in the landfill.I had thought of making a firepit from cinder blocks or bricks but the cost involved wouldn't have been much of savings over this firepit, and this is more convenient and better looking.This is made of some heavy metal, and I have no reason to believe that it won't last a long time. I'm seventy, so I doubt that I'll ever have to buy another one. On that subject, the advertising copy suggests that this is something that you might want to carry with you on a wilderness outing, and I am thinking that unless your idea of a wilderness outing is one that you can drive to, this is far too heavy for that. At about eighteen pounds, this isn't something I'd want to carry with me on a wilderness trek.However, I have a hundred acres of woodland with a camp on it and there is an area of my woodland where I sometimes do primitive camping. That would be a hike of about a mile, and I might be willing to carry something like this out there once, as long as I can leave it there for subsequent uses. I am thinking of buying another one for that purpose, but I wouldn't lug the one that I have back and forth every time I want to use it. I kind of like to bring some other stuff with me too, when I am camping.That said, this is well-built, made of durable metal, and reasonably easy to assemble. I did have to cuss at it a couple of times and slam it a few times with my rubber mallet but, once these essential steps were out of the way, it went together pretty well.Later... having used this a few times now, I am upping my rating to five stars. The assembly was easy, it's durable, it looks good, and it works great. As a non-essential tip, I placed mine on some small bricks to improve the airflow and make it easier for me to reach it. It burned fine at ground level, though.Later... I have been using this all summer, fall, and winter, and it is doing very well. I have added a heavy metal cover to it, which was made to be the base of a display case and, with the cover in place, this will hold the heat for a long time. Several hours after burning wood in it, it's still hot and has enough coals to restart a fire.1 year and 4 months later... My firepit is holding up just fine, and I've ordered a second one to bring up to my land up north. It would be safer than just starting a fire on the ground.

Super easy to set up and store, provides nice fire pit for those who don’t have the space/weather to have a pit set up full time.

I got this for its portability since it packs down super small and would be extremely convenient on our camping trips. It goes together decently but this thing is HEAVY, like solid steel heavy. My wife couldn't put it together by herself. Its definitely built to take a beating, but it still sits in my garage. When I bought it, there wasn't a weight of the pit, I was outside the window and tried to send it back but didn't get a reply.Only reason I gave it 3 stars was due to missing information on listing and not hearing back. Otherwise if you don't mind the weight its a solid deal.

This comes apart and is really small for transport, and is a good size for a campfire. It's solid and just slips together, no moving parts. Not much that can go wrong! FYI: it is vented on the bottom, which is good for the fire, but ash will fall through. If you can't leave the ash, but some aluminum foil underneath it.

this is just what I was looking for ,great for travel and and it comes with a bag ,puts together in minutes and it is not real heavy ,cant wait to use it this spring.

Falls apart if u move it and a bit too small for the price.

Have not used yet, but still feel i can give a review on what i see..easy assembly, easy to clean, very heavy steel..2 1/2 mm..doesnt seem much, but it is...the base the fire actually sits on feels thicker, and heavier..maybe 3ml..open to correction on that..i recon this thing will las a long long time,if cleaned and looked after properly. My purpose for purchase is car camping and sitting out the back garden..i do a lot of wild camping, and this is definitely not for that..the weight alone gives you a good reassurance that this is built for its purpose. On a side note the bag its supplied with is decent enough, and keeps everything tidy..room in there also for a folded ground protector/mat..5 stars for me,without even using it..👍
