I never expected this quality for the price. These are really sturdy, well made out of quality material. I purchased them to fit to a new work table that i was making, it weighs in at 280 Kg, and they carry that weight with ease. The wheel locking mechanism is so easy to use jut a flick of the toe operates them. Highly recommended.thank you

FOSLAP 100mm castorsI bought 2 sets of these to make custom sized dolly boards / skids for a pair of hefty (40kg each) DJ subwoofers. I wanted the 100mm size so they roll easily over small obstructions and uneven surfaces, and these seemed to meet the bill. First impressions were good - experience however was a bit of a mixed bag. Read on...The good points:- they roll easily- the brakes are very good in use, operating on both the wheel and castor bearing and with a separate foot operated release lever- the black colour is exactly what I wanted, not red/blue/yellow/whatever...- bolts + nuts were includedThe less good points:- there is some play in the castor bearings (not the wheel bearings)- the supplied bolts are 30mm M8 (M8 x 30) with a standard 13mm hex head. There are no washers supplied, nor any spring washers or Nyloc nuts to prevent loosening with vibration- two small spanners are supplied but these are, frankly, not 'proper' tools at all- the clearance between the base plate and the body of the castor is smallI constructed the skids from 18mm plywood and recessed the fixing holes so the bolt heads would be flush with the surface.With this construction, the supplied 30mm bolts were too long and protruded well past the base plate preventing the castor from rotating.I tried 20mm bolts (too short) and 25mm bolts - these were just about OK but there was a trade-off between the bolt catching on the castor body and leaving sufficient thread to allow for a washer+spring washer+nut for a secure fixing. I could have used a washer+nut+Threadlocker or a washer+Nyloc nut but it would be the same problem - it's the length of the bolt which is the problem :(If the head of the bolt had been on the base and the castor fixed 'upwards' then I guess it wouldn't be a problem - but for me it was.Would I buy again? Probably yes, because the price is quite good. But next time I'd be more aware of the fixing issues inherent in the design.Hope this helpsNote: I see another reviewer has also commented on the lack of washers. In practice this isn't really too much of a problem as they're cheap as chips from Screwfix, although it is an added cost. It's the fact that secure fixing requires a greater distance between the base plate and the body of the castor, which is a design issue.[EDIT: typo + more info]

good quality product

These castor wheels are better than I was anticipating. They look pretty good, the locking mechanism is superb and very positive sonis the swivel motion. I've mounted these on a very heavy/large cupboard and they work great. I can push the cupboard with minimal effort. I'm going to order 2 more sets for my workshop. The bolts that came with them were not suitable for my application as my base was thicker than what these bolts were intended for. Still given a 5 star review as it would be impossible to supply bolts to suit everyone's needs (unless they did a drop-down selection box on the listing). So far all is good!

Very good set of castorsI am in no doubt that as I will be buying more of these from this seller as I continue to organise my work shop.Not only is the product excellent, but delivery was fast and the package was well secured.Just fitted to heavy kitchen table.The wheels are very easy to lock/unlock. I am not disappointed by them. They work perfectly for the purpose intended.So far so good, much easier to move table, no squeaks, smooth operation. Wheel brakes work well.Very Fast delivery and good packaging.

Perfectly within the parameters I needed for 2 PA monitors. The actual wheels are very sturdy and look like they will last longer than the life of the speaker's
