Casio G-Shock Master of G 9400 Desert Camo Series - Beige / One Size

There have been probably 8-10 different versions (color schemes) of the Rangeman watch since it was released in 2013. I've owned many of them. Currently I am down to this one, and the green camo version. This Desert Camo version is super nice looking, I love the camo, and the beige accents on the bezel match it very well. Plus the strap on this one (carbon fiber and resin) feels more "rubbery" than straps on other Rangeman watches - can't explain why, but I like this one.One little tidbit I'll add here that may save some of you some research and/or money... ALL Rangeman watches are made at Casio's factory in Thailand. ALL of them. Doesn't matter if you are buying the watch FROM Japan - it was still assembled in Thailand. So do not pay more money for a Rangeman shipping from Japan, thinking that you are getting something different. You're not. (only exception - some of the Rangeman watches intended for the Japan market have a carbon fiber strap, while other Rangeman watches intended for the U.S. market have JUST a resin strap, with no carbon fiber. The ones with carbon fiber straps do cost more. In both cases though - the watches were assembled in Thailand.)If you are considering buying this watch, be aware that Casio is coming out with an updated version of the Rangeman in 2018 (Spring, apparently). That one will have GPS navigation, and looks to be quite different from this one. Its price though will be significantly higher - retail of around $800.In the meantime, this Desert Camo rangeman is a fantastic watch, and offers huge value and great style for the money. Extremely functional and useful for hiking or camping. Hard to beat!

I put my Ebel and Rolexes away back in the late 90’s and started wearing Casio G-Shocks. I’ve owned several since then and all their great features are bundled into this one watch. The Rangeman is a tour-de-force of industrial design, materials engineering, and technology. That being said, learning to use this device takes some work. Setting it up will require that you read the manual. The interface is well designed but too miniaturized to be entirely intuitive. So hacking will only get you so far.In my case the main feature is the R/C or “atomic” synch. To use this spooky feature you will need to set “WT” to a R/C compatible city code in your time zone and make sure the battery is well charged. I live in New England so I was disappointed that there was no code for Boston or Hartford…so I used New York. I have read that the watch will not synch if the “baro” function is on. You may want to check the manual and make sure it’s off. The watch likes to pick up the signal late night…so don’t expect it to be reliable during the day. Turn on AUTO from the R/C menu and the synch will occur automatically at night and fine-tune your time.. Mine will synch in power save “PS” mode...so that can be turned on.Ok - so it’s called a “Rangeman”...including a shot timer function in the bundle of features would be the only way this device could be improved.

I bought this watch for my son in 11/17. Case broke (so band won’t stay on) within 6 months. Cassio will not repair. The repair is $140.00. The approved repair guy they gave me said this failure happens a lot with this watch. My son loves the watch. I’m not happy about the expensive repair.

Little expansive

This watch is absolutely stunning. Very well built, very light, and the features are incredible. The auto light feature is so convenient too in the dark. Tilt your wrist and somehow the watch will know when to light up. It's very bright and easy to read. It's hard to take a picture in the dark so sorry about it.Also It's a Casio... Japanese brand. You can't go wrong .

Being a Veteran & retired law enforcement, I've always been hard on my equipment. Through the years, I've owned 4 G-shock watches. They all still work great, I just enjoy updating from time to time. This new Rangeman is definitely my most favorite, the biggest/most rugged of them all. This is my second solar, I really enjoy the reliability of not worrying about a dying battery.

Perfect size and function. Originally I was looking for an analog G-Shock, but I'm really glad I bought this one. I can't hear the alarm, but that's my hearing issue. My daughter will ask, "Was that your watch beeping?" I've never heard it :) Otherwise, it's fantastic. Love the Carbon Fiber reinforced band.

I can tell you that without a doubt this is a genuine Desert Camo edition G-Shock Rangeman (and it is beautiful) with the original packaging and user's guide. All of the functions and sensors work perfectly (my favorite of which is the atomic time keeping) and the fit, like my other G-Shocks, is perfect. So if you are worried because the price of this watch from this seller is cheaper than the others, don't be! Pull the trigger now so that you can own this beautiful Rangeman.

Love it. Arrived ahead of scheduled delivery date. This is my third G Shock, they are tough nd rugged. Love all the features.
