This belt is very comparable to the one by Rogue. My wife was gifted a Rogue belt (which she loves) but she only got it because it was a gift. Not wanting to drop Rogue-like money I started looking at alternatives. I decided on the Steel Sweat belt and I’m glad I went with it. It seems almost identical to the rogue belt in areas that count. I’ve included side by side images for your reference. The Rogue belt is obviously smaller because it’s for my wife. I bought an XL because I’m a husky guy. Belly button circumference was 42 inches. I fit in the 5th out of ten holes. XXL would be for NFL linemen I think. I would buy this belt again. I bought it for $45 becuE it was black instead of the more popular colors. Rogue is ~$130. Nope. Not in this economy. I’ll update this if anything changes

I have been training since the 1970's and therefore have had many belts over the years. I stopped training for many years and decided enough was enough, and that I needed to get back into a serious training regiment and would need a REAL belt! So, the search began. I read tons of reviews about other well know belts and some not so well know. I literally looked at every belt that was available here on Amazon. I knew that a thinner belt would weigh less, be more comfortable technically and cost less (sometimes more if you buy well marketed brand names). Some of the belts that I researched - but did not buy - were the DARK IRON FITNESS BELT (turned off by it due to some negative feedback about the quality of it and it was not thick enough); HARBINGER (it had quality issues and it also was not have a uniform 4 inch width nor was it thick enough) RDX ( again, quality issues and belt buckle breakage) and on and on I can go - I found flaws in all of them, really did. So I am thinking to myself, "How do I decide what to get with so many choices yet so many issues, even with the big name belts and the high price tags that go with them?" Well, I ran across this belt by STEEL SWEAT. I read the reviews but though they were all good, not very many of them, so honestly, I was a tad concerned. This one I received is the 4 inch wide, 10mm one but I also noticed that they has a brown version, so I checked the feedback out on that one. I noticed some complaints about some rivets coming loose or broken, so that was a concern from me, and I almost passed on this belt. However, I thought, at this very affordable price and given the product description, I thought, so what, if it turns out to be a crappy belt, I can always return it. After all, what am I supposed to do, spend my life looking for the perfect belt? So I ordered it and boy oh boy they are fast, 2 days it was here. And - I hate to say this publicly but my gut measurement was 44 inches across my belly button so I got the extra large (told you I need to get back into shape!) - and glad I am did! Use their chart, it is accurate. Like I said, I know my belts and this one is the BEST one I have ever had or seen. There are other thick belts out there but they are more expensive and they do the same as this belt. I can tell they resolved the rivet issue because they are screw in rivet and not pressed rivets, so problem solved. I can tell this a very, very robust and serious belt, I mean, no way - and I mean this - no way will I ever, ever wear this belt out. I is that high in quality - from the leather, to the buckle, fit and finish, everything! I am very meticulous about details and I know none of you know me but trust me, if I saw ANYTHING wrong with this belt, I would say so. Also, if my memory serves me well, this is the first feedback that I have ever left on Amazon - that is how strongly I believe in this belt. You can waste your time hunting down that "right" belt but I promise you, get this belt - did you hear me? GET THIS BELT! It is every bit the professional level belt that you would find at a powerlifting competition. Though it needs to break in (you know how leather is) it will be even better! So, please, I did all the homework for you, don't waste anymore time, just get this belt and you can thank me later! Happy lifting everyone! :)

This belt as turned out to be a great one. Well built and for the price you can not beat it. I do a lot of dead-lifting and I have been very happy with the support. I am not a competitive lifter but lift in the low 400 pound range and it is holding up great for the first 3 months so far.

This belt is a very good quality belt. I would however look at the sizing chart. Do not go by your pants size or even the same size of your old belt. I made the mistake and purchased a medium for my son and it was too big. I have a 36-38” waist and I can put the belt on with a couple extra holes to go. I like the belt so much, I am probably going to keep it for myself. I have a darkiron belt and this one makes it look cheap.

For the price of this belt...it is a steel..I mean steal. Mine came pre broken in I would say and the quality...well lets just say I own the rogue echo 10mm and this one tops it. It looks good feels good and the screw in rivets are a huge huge hugggeeeeeee plus. The belt could and honestly should cost at least a hundred but steel sweat is a awesome company and doesn't wanna steel...I mean steal our money.With that said, I haven't yet used the belt and I will update if anything goes wrong but honestly I don't see such a thing happening. Now it is time for me to grow my beard and feel the power Odin has given to me and set the gym on fire!STOP THINKING AND LOOKING AND BUY THE DAMN BELT!

Works well and seems so far like a good quality belt. Size accurate
