Its a sparkly, beautiful ring right out of the box. The sizing is spot on, the band is not too thin, not too thick (perfect for me) and there is detail in the band that gives special character so its not just plain. I’ve owned two other synthetic ruby sterling silver rings that did not hold up very well, I’m hoping this one will. I’ve spent a lot on white gold and haven’t kept up on rhodium plating and sizing for my other ruby ring; this was cheaper then that maintenance and means I don’t need to be without for 7-10 days!!!With Prime shipping, the style and great price I highly recommend!PS, this is more a pink ruby than a red. Ruby is my birthstone and I own several rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings with this gem. For anyone interested rubies can be pink to dark red! I'm giving this ring a 4 because it's not true red but more pink. That's fine but it does say red and I was hoping for something with more red in it. It's very pretty and very shiny. I'm buying this ring for my mother who loves jewelry at a low price and this will be perfect. I hope that it will stay this way for quite some time as it is very pretty and looks expensive. The box that it came in is cardboard with a foam insert that holds the ring. It's not too impressive so I'm ordering a black velvet ring box to put it in which will definitely make it look beautiful.
