I like the thinner handle (not as chunky as other options on the market) so it fits nicely in my counter holder and adds a bit of color too!

We’ve been getting these for a while & I especially like this design. It’s slightly scooped so it makes turning your food so much easier.

I started buying Tovolo utensils early on and in fact wrote the first review for the slotted turner which I really like. I consider my Tovolo mixing spoons the best utensils I own. However, the spoonula has the new flex-core head with the gap between the stainless steel and the head which can accumulate gunk.If you look at the first picture of the spoonula with the stainless steel handle you don't see the gap. Not quite sure how they pulled this off but it strikes me as rather deceptive. Then when you scroll down under the explanation of flex-core the picture shows the gap but with an all-silicone spatula rather than the stainless steel. Not very happy with Tovolo about this and it makes me think they have let their standards slip.Flex-core seems like just another marketing tactic. Sadly I removed the tags before I noticed the gap between the head and the handle and this makes another donation to Goodwill.Update: I see Tovolo uploaded a video titled Tovolo Stainless Steel Spoonula which shows all the things you can do with an all-silicone spatula not the stainless steel. Reinforces my perception that this all seems about marketing.

What’s with the gap between the soatuka and the handle? I have to dental floss my spatula. Dislike!
