Not quite as sturdy as I would have liked.
Overall 5 stars, it does what I needed it to do. That being said I have a hard time getting it to support a blue yeti usb microphone + a pop screen filter. I have to tighten the the connection to the point that I feel like it is about to break. The longer part of the arm seems to support the weight fine. Once I do have it set up, I just swivel it from the base front and back away from my face when I'm not using it. Again, overall it does what I need at a good price so 5 stars.

Value, quality
Good cheap boom, no complaints. Used it on my Snowball.

Worked great for 9 months.. base is weak point
Bought this boom arm in January, and by late October, the pyramid base broke internally. The boom arm itself is sturdy, it keeps it's position well and the springs are tight-- and I move it back and forth daily for zoom calls at work. The base is made of plastic, and always felt like a weak point-- and today it finally cracked. By design, there is a lot of pressure on the base. Here's hoping I can buy just a replacement base and not have to wastefully get a whole other boom arm, when it is otherwise fine.

Issues that need to be fixed.
First things first, the quality of the arm and clamp is great. Both are solid chunks of metal capable of holding up a Shure SM7B. However, after about a year of daily use, the base at the bottom of the arm broke. After closely analyzing this, I noticed it's a small star-shaped piece of plastic holding this stand to your desk. This critical weak point failed while I was in the middle of a stream, adjusting my mic.I advise the maker of this microphone mount to redo the base with a sturdier material OR put more material between the base and the clamp. The base of this stand WILL eventually fail on anybody using a Shure SM7B or mic of equivalent weight, especially if they move their mic around daily. (Just up and out of the way and back down in front of my face for my streams.)The rest of the unit is great! But I expect a stand with this price to last longer. Especially when it's listed as "Heavy Duty." I'll likely keep the stand and make my own base or find a new base mount

Great Product, But Measure Your Desk Thickness!
Loved the packaging and the item! The eWonLife Mic Arm is a heavy-duty, well-crafted piece that certainly impressed me. The 5/8 thread and overall design are top-notch.Unfortunately, I had to part with mine because the desk I bought it for is a hefty 6 inches thick, and the arm attachment didn't allow me to open it any further than 3 inches. It's a fantastic product, but be sure to measure your desk thickness before purchasing.Even though it didn't work out for me, I can vouch for the quality of the eWonLife Mic Arm. If it fits your desk specs, it's definitely a smart buy. I'm genuinely satisfied with the product and the overall experience.

Great for 1 year, broke right after my customer support window closed
I bought this boom arm to use with my PC, it worked great for about a year until the part that clamps to the desk just broke. I was just adjusting down to mouth level and all of a sudden my mic was on my desk. The part is irreparable and the customer service window just closed. I don't constantly adjust it, and only use it 3-4 times a week. I would buy a much sturdier product unless you want to replace it every year.

Sturdy stand for a Shure MV7
I used to use a very basic mic arm that had visible springs attached to the arms, which made quite a bit of noise during zoom meetings or recordings. Thankfully, I purchased this eWonLife mic arm, which is silent, as well as sturdy. It can hold my heavy Shure MV7 mic. If necessary, it can be stretched up to about 38 inches, at which point it becomes almost straight. My Shure MV7 didn't require any adapters for me to connect. The cable is kept low-profile with the thin velcro ties included. The main reason I love this mic arm is its base, it has a wide grippy contact point on the desk top, which makes it so stable. The headphone hanger part under the desk is a nice touch. I use this mic arm everyday to help my students online, to meet coworkers over Zoom, and also to do voiceovers for my videos.
