I'm not sure what others were complaining about. I was a little concerned but mine actually didn't have any rough or sharp edges. Maybe I got lucky Bought these for retwisting my locks. After retwisting my locks with a homemade flax and aloe vera gel I soaked the clips in soapy water for about five minutes as is my routine. Once I was done, I tossed them onto a towel to dry. I didn't even individually dry them as I wasn't feeling well. Usually my metal clips I will clip along the edge of a towel and blow dry them for a few minutes. None of them rusted though so idk.They had good tension were the size as described and worked extremely well. Glad I purchased.

These will snag, catch and pull your hair when trying to place them in your hair. Not pleasant at all.

The clips are just regular clips but turns out I'm allergic. If you have a nickel allergy or sensitive skin, please avoid.

They were much smaller than I expected and because I ordered it during the pandemic my mom sanitized them, some of them ended up with rust on them and I had to throw them away but I made them work, I also have short hair and used them with rollers, my moms hair is thicker and longer and it was a little harder to work with them in her hair.

Many of the clips are permanently suck together. The ones that aren't work well.
