Wanted to have a security camera near the end of the driveway which is about 500' from my building. After doing some research and realizing the need for a Poe extender, I decided to try this one. The unit was extremely easy to hook-up and the camera worked immediately with no problems. I am very happy with the product! After nearly six months of problem free use, the camera stopped working, which I traced to the Poe extender. I'm not absolutely sure why the unit failed. But after contacting the seller about the unit, they went out of their way to help resolve the issue. I am a happy customer and would definitely try this product!

Not worth the money and doesnt work with CAT6 as the ends dont fit in weather proofing caps
I had my customer buy one of these (since my norms were out) and the ends pushed in the body when they plugged it in to test it so I bought and brought another one to the site only to find out that Cat 6 cable ends are too big for the weather proofing caps. I like and will use the ones by fastcabling for now on.

Well built network extender
Easy to install. Installed at about 300p'. My endpoint switch is another 250' further. We're getting full speed transfer through the line plus including several virtual networks. It's well built and designed.

Waste of money
Extends poe power, not ethernet signal. Uap downstream connections only connect to ubiquiti controller wirelessly, not wired, even those under the 100 mtr mark. Probably better to get a remote poe switch!! Over lenghth cat5e cables work better!!
