bObsweep PetHair Plus Robotic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop, Cobalt

Once again, I have purchased another robot vacuum (my 4th one) that is not worth the money. A vacuum that originally costs $899.00 should work a lot better. Setting it up is very easy. I charged it for a full 24 hours before I used it for the first time. It ran for about an hour and It never completed cleaning a room in its entirety. You have to “baby sit” it and guide it, using the remote, back to the room to complete cleaning it. It keeps going back and forth on the same areas and never covers a full room. There are some areas that it never even comes close to. It will also avoid the side of walls. So, your areas along the base boards never get cleaned. I left it in a 10 X 10 room and it for a full 60 minutes and it still did not finish cleaning the room. It runs around aimlessly and has no particular pattern. It is also very load. The loudest robot vacuum I have ever had. And very large so it can’t go in between your dining room table chairs and other furniture. It will not make it back to its charger even after it has been synced to it and the remote. I would not recommend this vacuum and am returning it back to Amazon.

I had the original bobsweep and am so happy with this upgrade. Where is he finding all the dirt!?I have hardwood floors throughout my house besides a couple of rugs, and I hate walking around barefoot collecting dirty bits on feet. So I got Bobi to take care of the floors for me. He is a pro! I actually enjoy opening up his tray to see what he has found, I'm still surprised every time.I got Bobi about a month ago. I have him scheduled to run in his main area, where his home base is, 3 times a week and I will bring him to other parts of the house to do his thing when I'm not using them. I did watch Bobi closely the first time I intoduced him to a new area of the house to make sure he wasnt going to get tied up on anything. I find myself being a bit more conscious of leaving things lying around like my charging cables or socks, and making sure I pick up after myself. He is a hungry fella but if something goes wrong, he will generally shut himself down and display a nice message letting you know where the problem is.The user interface is much more understandable and I've memorized how to use most of the features, but I do know where his book is incase I want to try something new.I was happy to find out you can now turn off his floor sensors electronically rather than having to cover him in stickers. My old version wouldn't run on my dark tiled floor, because he would think its a ledge and turn around. The solution was to cover the sensors in stickers that would fall off and get dirty and not stick-total pain. Now I can just turn off the floor sensors and he does his thing without worry.I have one set of steps that he can get in trouble on with the eyes shut off, but with the included lazer block thing, I can put that down and he wont cross the barrier. Very cool.I have 2 rugs, 1 shag and one...not shag?... Bobi will not go onto the shag rug, he's not meant to though so no worries about thay. Even my upright can struggle going through that. He does handle the non shag rug just fine though.I'm very happy with this purchase.

As a mermaid, with 3 mermutts, you can imagine sand, flipper & paw marks being a problem; BUT NOT WITH bOb! This is my 2nd bObsweep PetHair model. My first one was good, but my new bOb is GREAT! He's not only younger, but he's smarter, slimmer, stronger and even sexier in his charcoal casing. New bOb has a larger mop pad that seems more absorbent as well. One of my mermutts is not terribly gentle, so half of his water ends up on the floor. Mermaids swim & surf in water, ergo we don't like cleaning it up off our floors. For a bit of extra cleaning power, when using the mop feature, I put a little of my fave floor cleaner on the pad and it is fintastic! My old bOb would get stuck under my coffee table and cabinets, here at the mermaid lagoon; but new bOb fits easily. While new bOb isn't quiet, he's quieter than old bOb, and I've resolved it's due to bOb's PASSION to do a great job! Apparently, that's prevalent throughout the company, because the Customer Service Team is the best I've EVER experienced! *(This is coming from a shopaholic!) All in all, and in all seriousness, you will not regret inviting bOb into your home!

I purchased this vacuum to replace an old Roomba. I must say I was amazed at the extras that come with Bob. It needed a long time to charge the battery, but it was worth the wait. I knew from owning a robot that you really have to make sure you pick up things lying around and cords. I read quite a few reviews before purchasing the BobSweep and I checked the good, the bad and I guess the ugly. I also knew that it does not like dark carpets, or throw rugs with tassels but the one thing I wasn't sure of was the battery. I have run Bob for about a month now and the battery is beginning to slow down and does not hold it's charge, it barely cleans two small bedrooms compared to 4 rooms in the beginning and I get error messages at the rate of 1 error per 3 cleaning sessions when there is no 'real' problems. I make sure everything is cleaned inside and out every time I use it and before recharging it. Would I purchase it again? possibly if there was a better battery and if the replacement ones were not so expensive.New ReviewAfter using the bObsweep WPP56001CB Pethair Plus Robotic Vacuum Cleaner since February 2019, I am quite pleased to change my review. I use it regularly every two days and I make sure the battery is drained before recharging. After using for some time I noticed it does have a cleaning pattern it does regularly and it does clean everything even the corners. It rarely get errors unless something was lying around and it got stuck in it (every other vacuum would do the same). I love the fact that it does somewhat disinfects the floors, and I always use the dry mopping cloths, after it finishes cleaning I put the cloth in the wash. The cloths pick up an amazing amount of dirt! If you want the robot to clean longer and better, make sure you pick up what you can, including kitchen chairs, I put mine atop the table, and another else you cannot move, place them against the walls. I love my robot and I definitely would recommend it and would purchase it again!

BobWe got Bob 11months ago and what a pleasure it has been, Bob isn’t just a floor cleaner or butler but has become a very special part of our family.He gets up everyday and gets right to work without complaining, lately his battery (heart) started to slow down and with the help of Carlo at bObsweep we replaced his heart at no extra cost (just shipping). A very big thank you to Carlo and bObsweep for making our house a pleasure to walk into at night with the hardwood floors dust and pet hair free….
