Maximuscle Protein Bars | High Fibre, Low Sugar Healthy Snacks with 15g of Protein & Under 175 Calories per Serving | Raspberry Coconut, 12 x 45g

Initially, this bar tasted rather good, but after a couple of bites, it became unbearably sweet and really unpleasantly so. I don’t have a sweet tooth per se, but I do like sweet things from time to time, so it isn’t that I have an aversion to sugar, just the sweetness of these bars. And that’s despite the claims of them being low in sugar - it seems someone may have been too liberal with the sweetener in the recipe.The bars are suitable for vegetarians and, at 174 calories, aren’t going to adversely affect the waistline if eaten in moderation (you won’t want to eat more than one if my experience is anything to go by). Each bar has 10.8% fibre, which equates to 4.9g and a respectable number. Mine came with a shelf life of 9 months and, even though there are only 12 bars in a pack, I think I will struggle.

I've tried all the flavours of these bars that I've found and all are absolutely delicious. Many protein bars are quite artificial tasting with a weird aftertaste but these are amazing. My favourite is probably the New York Cheesecake, but I love them all. I'm currently using them as a meal replacement while doing the Exante diet, as their bars aren't as nice, and while they don't have all the added vitamins and minerals that the Exante ones do, they're just that much nicer and less calories and carbs than the diet ones.

One star because both boxes had been tampered with and a bar removed from each. Don’t expect such Del Boy tactics from amazon...basically short changing people of the product bought. Contacted and been given £6 off. I wonder how many people have just put up with it ?!

I used to buy Prozis bars but can't have them delivered anymore due to EU shipping changes so I bought these as they had the same flavouring and they are LOVELY! I was shocked that the macros are so good, they are so tasty! Being diabetic I like to watch my sugar intake and these are low sugar but FULL of taste and good protein content too!

Love this flavour - so much more exciting than other brands out there. Tasty, a heathy alternative snack, I’m going to try the other flavours now.

This is the second box I have purchased! I love them very much. They may have a "gritty" texture to some people, but honestly it doesn't bother me, it's the same texture with the majority of protein bars. Very happy indeed!

I used to think that grenade carb killa held top spot for protein bars but this one beats it! Great texture and nice flavour!

Great price compared to Maximuscle website but SO disappointed with the taste. Nothing like cheesecake, very bland and pretty tasteless. The millionaire shortcake is much better. I would not buy this flavour again.
