A classic still like the original which is rare these days!
I first bought this journal back in 1978 to keep my plant records. Filled I bought my second in about 1982. I began to write smaller and didn't fill it until recently. So pleased to see the same journal still available after all of these years!

It's small, cost too much, and it's not a record book.
I really like these little record notebooks. They are almost perfect for what I was looking for. My only complaint is that I think they cost too much...$6 is too much. I think they are realistically worth about $4.I think people should be aware that this is NOT some type of accounting record book. The pages inside have standard rule lines like a regular notebook. Basically, this is just a hardback notebook. Also, people should be aware of the size of this notebook. The actual page size is 7.5-inches by 5.0-inches. This is a small notebook, so if you can't imagine these dimensions in your head grab a ruler or tape measure so you can truly understand what 7.5-inches by 5.0-inches means. One of the biggest reasons why I like these little notebooks so much despite the cost is that they are well built. I carry one of these around with me at work to take notes and no matter how much I open and close it and bend the cover back the pages NEVER get loose or fall out. In the past I have used spiral notebooks, but after a while they look like rats have chewed on them...they are not built for long-term repeated use. I have also used composition notebooks, but after you open and close them so many times the pages start to fall out. Despite my everyday us of these notebooks they practically look like they are new.I think their are probably better options out there, but for now I'm willing to pay a couple of extra bucks for this notebook that's the right size and quality for me.

Continuing my childhood record keeping
I have been keeping track of the author and title and number of pages of every book I have read since childhood and was just about to run out of space in my little black and red ledger book. I really wanted to continue in the same type of book and was delighted to find it available on Amazon for a very good price. These books are just like what I started using many years ago. Glad to see that something hasn't changed!

Sturdy and effective.
This little note book is great for keeping tabs on whatever you need. This is a terrific size for grocery lists, routine maintenance or like me, keeping track of inspections. The cover is sturdy and the pages are crisp and bright. This is well worth the price.

Thin Paper
I use a pen that has a somewhat wet ink like a fountain pen, and the writing shows through the opposite side. I must use a lesser pen.

Great Hardcover Noebook but Very Thin
This little notebook has excellent build quality and is exactly as described. I would like to point out that is is very thin. If you need a lot of pages for writing this won’t be for you. I personally would like it to be at least twice as thick, preferably 500 pages.

If you want to organize your digital life, you will need someplace to record it.
My New Year's resolution was to create a combined record of my digital life. I gathered up all my on-line accounts and created a record of user ID's and passwords, addresses and telephone numbers and contact names.I chose this, because I still have one from thirty years ago, that I used to jot down notes & stuff, while I was in the Army. It survived that and lasted the twenty-odd years since.

Not worth the $
This book was way to expensive for the quality of paper and the build of the spine. Small book worth maybe 8$
