This set is absolutely incredible especially for the price!!!! I cannot believe the amount it offers between refills of erasers and the amount of leads it offers is astounding! It even gives you colored leads and sharpeners. You can spend this much on one mechanical pencil that only has two or three leads inside of it and breaks the next day. These are made to withstand the test of time and consistent use. I am very very happy with this purchase. I went against my rule of not purchasing off brand art supplies but after seeing all it had to offer and the cost along with the reviews (I don't even think I looked at the reviews since thus price was so good for everything these came with). But seeing them at some point, I think I read them right after I got this set when I was shocked by the quality.Do not hesitate. Thus is a very good buy. I promise, I don't use these for writing or for construction marking of wood measurements or whatever, I use them for art and have had them now for a few months and they are fantastic. I keep graphite in one, red in another and blue in the other. It gives me diversity and I don't have to worry about switching leads to work in my sketchbooks doing the undersketches of drawings or just gesture drawing to loosen up. My sketchbooks can have more color without having my colored pencils right there.Very happy.

I am not an artist, these were purchased for construction work. I have used 2mm mechanical pencils at work for a few years and keep breaking them as the ones i have had were all plastic. These metal ones feel much more durable and i like that there is an eraser on these. There is no plastic on the outside and the grip feels good. There are only 2 plastic parts in the whole pencil, the tube inside for the lead and the piece on top of that where the eraser sits. Even the ring around the lead vice is machined, most i've seen are stamped thin sheet metal. These come with different lead hardness types and i am really liking the 4B as it is very soft and will leave dark lines on most surfaces that pencil will write on, they go fast though. The 4H works well on concrete floors and rough surfaces and will write longer than the 4B. It would be nice to have an indicator for the lead that's in it, there is a window in the clip that reminds me that is a 2mm pencil but i already know that. I will probably just get another set in silver color to take care of that. These feel like tools that will outlive most everything that they will see on any jobsite or living in any set of toolpouches.

I am impressed with this set of mechanical pencils and love having the plastic container to keep them organized. The set works quite well and the price was terrific also.

they're entirely metal!! which i really like. but unfortunately they're not has heavy as id like them to be :( it's got a low center of gravity but it's just light for a metal pencil. my muji pencil that's mostly plastic is heavier. i have a heavy hand, and writing has been pretty smooth. the thick lead took me a bit to get used to and i feel like it'd write better if the pencil was just heavier. overall, it's a bargain for some good performing mechanical pencilsthe case was in perfect condition when it arrived; my only gripe with it is that it's a bitch to pry open. ive found that pulling it open from the corners work well but im concerned i might crack it if i keep treating it like thatthere's a great variety of lead that i honestly won't use. i only use hb, 2h, and red lead for drawing and surveying. but the leads i have used so far write really wellif you're not picky about pencil weight, it's worth the money. if you are picky about pencil weight, either cope or spend more on a heavier pencil

At 14$, 3 pencils and a host of accessories, this is a bargain. I purchased this 3 pack maybe 3 years or so ago, and am only now using the 2nd of the 3. The first went "bad" because I attempted to clean it with acetone, melting the inner plastic tubing that holds the 2mm lead. My fault, not the manufactuerer's.I rubbed the pencils down with Scotch-Brite, giving them a nice worn look. Other than the tubing inside, they are all metal. Specifically, aluminum and possibly brass or copper. I have dropped these, covered them in oil, fuel, and solvents, they just tank any hit and keep on writing. I never even have the lead inside break on me from drops. The clip has gotten caught on things, and should be bent all out of shape but it held firm for years. These lead holders might be cheaper than others, but that is NOT an indicator of quality - Nicpro made these to last.I use them for normal everyday writing as a mechanic. Sometimes just writing up parts lists, and sometimes drawing technical diagrams.Some minor cons though. The eraser is wimpy. Just use a seperate one - I like the Pentel Clic erasers. Save the itty bitty one in the pencil itself for emergencies. The cap also has some retention issues. It doesnt have very tight tolerances, so I just squeezed it lightly with some pliers, and now it only comes off when I want it to. The grip might be slippery to most people, the grooves could be deeper. But then again, I usually have some kind of oil on my hands so maybe I am not the best judge of that. The little tip and the "business end" also likes to come loose occasionally, but just tightening it real quick is easy enough to do. The sharpeners included are a waste of plastic, I would suggest the Ohto brass 2mm lead shapener - they last a long time and contain the shavings for disposal later rather than scattering them around.Seriously, if you are on the fence about which to get, I have tried half a dozen lead holders, ranging from these 3 for 14$ to a 30$ for one. These are the best. You won't regret your purchase.

I thought I was getting a 2.0 mech pencil with some refills. I bought it in a rush without reading the full description because I was definitely needing it and just wanted to get a new type of mechanical pencil for work. When the package arrived I was literally so stoked to see all of the contents that came with it. The aesthetic, materials, amount of contents, and quality of this kit is literally god-tier. They even provide coloured leads which I was definitely surprised to see.If you design or sketch for work (or for fun) this has everything you will need. I’ve been using it for almost 2 weeks now and I’m realizing this set will last me a very long time. 10/10 yo

Arbeite sehr gern mit Fallminen-Bleistiften. Nun haben einige den Geist aufgegeben. Nicpro hat zu einem sehr günstigen Preis drei stabile Schreibinstrumente angeboten und Minen, Radiergummis, darunter auch solche, die oben am Stift eingesetzt werden können, sind eine wilkommene Draufgabe. Die Stifte liegen gut in der Hand und bei Bedarf ist auch ein Anspitzer vorhanden.

This is surprisingly good for the price! The pencils are not quite rotring 600 quality but are still excellent. They seem to be made of aluminium and are quite light.I tested the leads and found the graphites to be genuinely different in terms of tone. To do this I created swatches of a single layer of graphite applied with the same pressure for each grade - 4B, 2B, HB, 2H and 4H.The coloured leads are reasonably waxy and lay down colour on paper quite well.The pencils sharpeners create a longish sharp point quickly.The case is a sealable plastic type box.I think this is a great buy that should last quite a long time
