Supposed to be good for you
Taste awful like dirt. But it’s supposed to be good for you with all the antioxidants. Power form is an easy way to add to smoothies, but it does give smoothies an after taste.

You know its healthy because its devoid of flavor
...well not entirely devoid of flavor - it has a chalky taste to it that does not taste good. If you put this in a smoothie or bake this into something with strong flavors you wont taste it. However, I would not recommend mixing it into something that doesn't have much flavor and I would NEVER think of eating this straight. I doubt this is the fault of the manufacturer and is just how the seeds naturally taste. The way they package this is very environmentally friendly. 90% of the bag is filled with seed, which is probably the maximum they could use.Honestly though, there isn't much reason to buy this product. The FDA has said that there are no antioxidant benefits related to the seed powder for acai berries. There are some great health benefits like a good deal of dietary fiber, calcium, iron and vitamin E. However, you can get these nutrients more cheaply.

Slightly gritty as a drink, but great elsewhere.
I received this acai powder in exchange for this review.I have had acai in smoothies in the past when out and about, but had never used them at home before. This powder is proving to be a highly versatile way to add flavor and nutrition to many of my foods. As a stand-alone "juice" mixed into water, it is rather gritty, so I wouldn't suggest this use, though it is tasty. Some uses that are great:Mix it into your next smoothie (The flavor seems to compliment any other fruits you choose to blend them with, though other assorted berries and pineapple juice is my go-to. Add a scoop to a cup of plain yogurt and a small drizzle of honey for a healthy fruity snack.Stir it into your next bowl of oatmeal!Acai milkshakes anyone? (Add a nutrient boost to your indulgent treat!)Blend with oil, good wine vinegar, and other seasonings for an acai vinaigrette to dress your next salad! (Add berries to the salad for a tasty change of pace in dinner) Really, as with most other powdered fruits out there, the uses are pretty much endless. Just use your imagination and enjoy the health benefits of acai!

Organic acai powder, perfect for smoothies
KC's Pantry Organic Acai Powder, 8 oz. Bag, 76 Servings — Organic, Non-GMO, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Keto & Paleo, Kosher — Perfect for use in Smoothies, Drinks, Tea & Baking, Yogurts, Salad Dressings, DessertsI've been using this acai powder in my smoothies and it's a nice addition to add an antioxidant boost. I can't say that the flavor is good though, and it does add a grainy texture. I was unsure about serving size so I had to Google 10 grams (it's approximately 2 tsp). This is a pretty small bag, but considering the small serving size it should last for quite a while. At $25 it seems really pricey to me. I do appreciate that it's organic and seems to be packed with lots of healthy antioxidants and Omega fatty acids.

Is this supposed to smell like finger paint?
This product is a brownish green powder that mixes up to a greenish brown suspension, with a very occasional bit of grit and the smell of fingerpaint. I have no idea if this is normal. The powder appears to be dark and (mostly) unclumped, which indicates freshness. The taste isn't terrible. Not sure what else to say here.

Easy, cost-effective acai bowls at home
Acai is a tropical fruit which has taken off in popularity lately as a superfood, thanks to its rich antioxidant content. Rather than buying pricey acai bowls and smoothies, this powdered acai allows you to make them at home for a much lower cost per serving! The powder doesn't taste like much on its own and has a bit of a gritty texture, but it's great mixed into yogurt, smoothies, or recipes like pancakes or energy bars. It offers high antioxidant content compared to other berries, and fresh berries often have a very short life in the fridge so this product allows me to incorporate them into my diet in a convenient way while being shelf-stable. It comes packaged in a resealable zip-top bag and doesn't require refrigeration once it's open.

3 1/2 stars Grainy and not sweet. Best for a smoothie
I was excited to try this Acai powder. I like that it is organic and non GMO. When it first arrived I couldn't wait to taste it. I've had chocolate cover acai berries and thought these would be sweet. These are not typical berries and they are not really sweet or have a strong berry taste. The texture is also very grainy. They would not be good to mix in whipping cream, candy or general baking. This powder is more suited to a smoothie or something stronger that can mask or add to the flavor. I think the quality of this is good but I wish it had been ground finer and tasted better.
