Great pump. I’m spraying 20’ trees.

Works great for bar sprayer.
I used this in a tow behind bar sprayer for putting fertilizer on my lawn. It runs just fine on a 12v lawn tractor battery. It pumps 50 gallons through 2 flat nozzles in about 15 minutes. Would recommend.

My error
Purchased this pump June of last year and used it once. Got out my spayer this year and the pump will not work. $98.00 for a one time use is to costly for me. Pump was drained and covered on the sprayer, outside last winter so it still should work. The last pump I had on the sprayer lasted 7 years under the same conditions. I only sprayed a 3/4 acre last year.My son came over with his meter and found a grounded wire in the conection and fixed the problem. Not a pump problem. Pump works well now.

Correcting previous previous low review - priming
After installing It would not pull water from tank. I rated 1 for no priming. I called the service number in the manual. I was connected to a nice gentleman who explained the diaphragm can stick during storage. Suggested I place the intake hose in a garden hose with low water pressure and then turn the pump on. It worked. pump works as it should. Rating of 5 for the pump and 10 for the gentleman who told me how to correct the problem.

Garbage pumps, works for 10 minutes then die
These pumps are priced well but I feel as if I am getting robbed in the long run as they only last for a few hours and then the pressure switches go, the fuse pops, or the internal windings disintegrate. I have had to replace three of these pumps with less than 8 hours of operation time on them using a 12v system with an inline fuse.Step up your quality of manufacturing or I will be looking elsewhere for new pumps.
