I was pleasantly surprised when this fit my 1995 F250 4x4 XLT 7.3 Diesel Pickup Truck. Compare the image I uploaded to that of this product. This new replacement ring cap is quite a bit deeper but pushed into place with very little pressure and a reassuring click as it seated.
