Tekeir IP65 Waterproof Electrical Junction Box (300x250x120mm)

Structure seems fine, but the bumps on the outside are soft plastic inserts into holes, not cast as part of the box.

I mounted two of these boxes on an external brick wall, this wall was uneven so made 8 stand off pillars from 15mm speed fit plastic water pipe, so box stayed square to wall and did not distort when screws were tightened.All was fine for a few weeks, then the box became loose and they fell off the pillars.Under closer examination it appears from the pics attached, the mounting holes became enlarged as the plastic pillars I made from the 15mm speed fit water pipe, reacted with the chemicals in the low grade plastic box which then crumbled.I explained this to the manufacture, who told me I had mounted it wrong but agreed the plastic had broken down, see supplier response below:Supplier reponseHi, I am sorry you feel this way but the plastic pillars should not of got used with this box.As you have said, one plastic has reacted to the other. We sell hundreds of this box with no issue and I cannot issue a resend or refund because It wasn't installed properly.Sorry about this.Kind Regards,
