This Lashing Winch is super heavy duty
I have been using regular tie down winch on my tow dolly, unfortunately they don’t allow you to ratchet them tight on my Colorado pick up with out taking the front valance off. While in Florida this winter another guy used a lashing winch with a slight modification and never had to modify his vehicle. These heavy duty lashing winch’s are perfect to make my life easier and by the way they are made they will outlast my truck, tow dolly and probably me. The photo is the tow dolly In Florida, I have not modified the new ones I just received.

Very well made
I mounted a pair of these on the underside of a farm wagon that I use to haul firewood. I haven't actually used them yet; however, they are well made and I feel confident they will do the job. The mounting holes accept a 1/2" diameter bolt which adds confidence in their design.One thing I wish it had was a ratchet release that stayed in the open position. I'm going to have to bend over and manually release the ratchet (probably with a large screw driver - the spring is very stiff) while pulling out the nylon strap with my other hand.
