- About this item Characteristics: Evergreen shrub with small, dark green leaves, that are a deep red when they're young. The shrub is brightly coloured with dark pink flower buds in winter, which open to very pale pink flowers in spring. Growth and Spread: Will reach an ultimate height and spread of 0.5 to 1 metre. Period of Interest: Although the foliage lasts all year round, the flower buds appear in winter and open up in spring. Plant Advice: Grows best in full sun or partial shade, in well drained, moist soil. The shrub is low maintenance and hardy.
