Great book
A great book about a guy who falls in love with a girl. Who is innocent. He takes care of her only to have her run out on him when she finds out he was hiding something from her.

AMAZING!
It was my first time reading anything by S. Nelson. I have to admit... it was one of the best findings. Addicted immediately captivated me since the beginning, true to it's title I was addicted to the book. It's a must read if you haven't yet. Enter Alek's and Sara's world, where you'll be consumed by their doing.

Nothing like being ADDICTED especially to this book!
ADDICTED is addicting...S. Nelson begins this story with an interesting encounter between Sara waking up with sexy, smoldering Alek in her bed...<rewind>Sara is 20 something young lady who is independent, smart and a bit shy, but the reasoning behind her reserve is something to be uncovered. While working at the flower shop she meets Alek who is there to order flowers for a friend who's been hospitalized. It is during this moment he sets his sights on her to be his. He does become one of those overbearing, cavemen type of protectors, but normally it was during the perfect times.Sara has a secret. And the contents of her past haunt and invade her sleep in the form of nightmares. The only person who knows why she really moved to Seattle is her best friend and roommate Alexa. Sara is guarded and only has a close circle of people who she really trust, until Alek chips away at her walls and they fall completely into pieces.Alek has a secret...of course who doesn't? Why is he so head over hills for Sara so fast? Why MUST he protect her? What is he hiding? And why does he ALWAYS seem to show up wherever she is? In his mind he is doing the right thing by hiding his true feelings and not feeding into his desires until she can trust him.Unfortunately, it gets a little complicated when sexual tensions explode and they are both engulfed in each other. Things are great until they aren't....I don't like to do spoilers, so you'll have to read the book to see what happens. The book was easy to read and I like the dynamic and tone of the characters.I will say that there is a cliffhanger and I could totally vision everything that happened. In fact in true "I can't believe that just happened fashion", I found myself yelling with my heart pounding and throwing the book at what happens at the end!Yes that's when you know it's a GREAT book!xoxoxo

What is the truth?
Sara Hawthorne meets Alek Devera out at her shop and later at a club, that she later finds out he owns. He seems to turn up at many places she is at. Sara treats as a coincidence. She figures why would he follow little old me around town?Alek feels for Sara what he has never felt for anyone else. Both of them having pain filled pasts, it is not easy to trust a stranger. After the initial meet and later how he takes her home and keeps her safe, they gain a friendship of sorts.Sara cannot help the attraction she feels and the tingling every time he is near. When he seems to return the attraction and the sparks are a flyin' - they cannot seem to keep their hands off one another whenever they are in the same room. He seems to always be holding something back, but not for the reasons she assumes. They both want to try to have a relationship. There are many factors that could bring it crashing down. Denying their feelings is getting them nowhere so they give it a try. Could be short lived when Sara finds out what he hides.Very interesting book that has complex characters. The story itself sucks you right in and is just the beginning. The next installment in the Addicted Trilogy is Shattered - where I hope to learn all that was missing from this book. I liked the flow and the friends that were fierce and loyal.***This ARC copy was given for review purposes only.

Perfection for relaxation
I stumbled across this book when buying another for my collection on my kindle. I thought I’d give it a try it gave me a fifty shades vibes from reading the reviews and looking at the cover. It is nothing like fifty shades, it is so much better I believe. I love that this first book views it from both Sara and Alek point of view it kept me on edge after every chapter and I’ve just finished this tonight and now I want to know more as it leaves you on a good cliffhanger!!! Currently downloading Shattered as I type this. It is the perfect book to help anyone with relaxing after a long day.Highly recommend this book I’ve enjoyed it so much.

Alpha male romance
Guy was controlling, didn't respect her feelings, a real caveman. Sara was independent, strong, carefree with good friends. Alik was a successful business owner but he was obsessed with Sara and all aspects of her life.Sara's past obviously had some darkness, a traumatic event which was hinted at but not explained.Story had too many holes and was really frustrating. I get that its a three parter but you have to give a little to keep the reader gripped. The characters were OK, as was the dialogue, the storyline needed better direction and more detail. The last couple of chapters seemed rushed just so the cliffhanger could fit in. Just a little more content and direction this could have me wanting to purchase the second part but it didn't. Sorry to say, I love reading, romance, alpha males etc but this one was a bit disappointing.

Addicted (Addicted Trilogy Book 1)
When looking for a new book I always read the brief , it didn't sound to bad so I downloaded it and once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. It has good strong characters, and a good story as well. I have already downloaded the next one, so as soon as I submit this I can start the next one. I would totally recommend it to everyone

Why only one on kindle unlimited ?
Kind of bitty, nothing flowed for until half way, but was good, just a bit too domineering (my opinion only as I appreciate some may like that)I joined kindle unlimited as it’s cheaper for the amount of books I read on all genres so for only one to be on it is a little frustrating and I’m disappointed. I won’t read the other two purely for the fact I read a LOT

Oh my goodness!
Once I brought this book, I literally didn't put it down until I finished it. At first, I thought it was another '50 shades rip off' but as I read on, you got to know the characters more and the story progressed, I realised it was brilliant. The plot twist at the end?! All I can say is...wow. can't wait to read the second book!
