Great Beginner Detector
Easy for both my daughter and I to quickly learn how to use. Lightweight and accurate. But a pointer! This makes finding where to dog a lot easier. Highly recommend. Found wedding ring and lots of coins. Will pick up lots of soda can tabs and buried cans. Pretty accurate at predicting type of metal.

Fun to play with
It goes crazy sometimes, and have to turn it off and on. Otherwise it works, picked up the gas line over three feet down. Found 20.00 in three outings of two hours, each or so. Fun to play with. The price is right

Great Beginner's Metal Detector
I purchased this metal detector for my 10-year old niece's birthday. I was surprised when she asked for one, but she's always had a very curious and adventurous nature. She was so excited when she opened the gift. The next day, she and I assembled it and went to work detecting in the backyard. IT WORKED! She can't wait to take it on vacation and try it on the beach. Highly recommend this product. If there were any downside to this particular model, it's a little long for a child to handle easily. Fortunately, my niece doesn't discourage easily.
