Not Gold!
I have the Heritage Dorchester bathroom suite with gold taps and gold fittings. It’s about 17yrs old. A hinge has broken on the toilet seat. I I purchased a new hinge pack, not from Amazon, however it appears that that Heritage replacements are nothing like the Gold that I have. I thought when the pack arrived that they had sent chrome! The new gold is is best described as chrome with a very feint coating of very pale gold. Nothing like you’d expect for something advertised as “Vintage Gold”. Now I’m going to have to purchase something that doesn’t match!!! So the warning is . If you expect to replace Heritage gold fittings from your suite if it’s not fairly new you’re in for a disappointment!,,
