I love this pen so much! I thought it might be a little awkward to hold, but no, it sits in my hand quite comfortably and writes like a dream! I have had so many fountain pens in my lifetime, so of them extremely expensive, but none of them match this! Can thoroughly recommend!

This fountain pen is great value for money and easily filled with the accompanying dropper. I have arthritic hands which ache when I write but the fatter the pen the more comfortable I find it to use, so this is great. I love fountain pens and I think this beats all but the very best (Pelikan) pens. It looks good, it's easy to fill, the lid screws on securely so you can carry it in a bag without risk of it leaking, ergonomically excellent and perhaps most importantly, it writes smoothly and the ink flows uniformly without blotting or scratching. If in doubt buy it - I don't think you'll be disappointed!

I buy a lot of fountain pens but I don't usually go for thick or short barrels but I'm pleasantly surprised by this one. The fine nib lays down a comfortingly strong line and seems wet enough that I'd be tempted to try a sheening ink in it to see how it shows it off. I usually write with my fingers but I like that this pen encourages me to let my wrist do the work for a change. I'm also left handed (underwriter) and it made my writing really quite neat (for me). The nib has the usual level of moonman feedback and if experience serves will soften up with use. Note, because of the filling system it needs to stand nib down (I put it in my pen pot) for 5 mins before writing but then there's no hard start and it's away.Note: the photo I include was written unposted but this pen does seem to post fairly well too and the reservoir takes about 5 'squeezes' of the included eyedropper to fill. I've also included a photo of it next to my space pen for legnth comparison purposes.

I like that this pen is short and fat......that doesnt sound like a compliment but it is. This pen is easy to fill from the ink bottle , this is a must for me as I dont like the amount of plastic that is thrown away when using cartridges not to mention the waste of disposable pens and pencils.This pen writes smoothly and feels lovely to hold. The large capacity means it will go for a good while before the need to refill.So far this little fella is great for my every day pen.

Well made pen and good nib. As a collector of ‘demonstrator’ fountain pens this is a good pen to add to the collection.

I thought this would be a fun, novelty item- it's more than that. Even extended periods of writing are comfortable as one tends to vary the grip. Holding by the cap , which posts firmly with a little twist, allows a free-flowing line for sketching. I've knocked off one star for price as I don't like to encourage inkflation, but this provides pleasurable writing with an added smile, so maybe you just have to shell out.
