Even though the fabric is indeed soft, as mentioned by the other reviewers, this is not a good product. Hats are way too big for a newborn. But most importantly, the seams in the mittens' wrists have exposed thread that is not only tight, but also sharp as a razor blade. I used them on my newborn baby for just one day, and we woke up to cuts on his both wrists. These are incredibly poorly made, they won't stay in place and will hurt your baby. This product should be recalled and the manufacturer needs to be fined.

When I bought these mittens I assumed they would of been smaller. But their big don't get me wrong my baby probably wore them around 3 months. But it all depends on the size of the baby, etc. The colors were bright though. I loved them and did not return because I knew I was going to use them either way. But way to big for newborn!

I like them. They are not fancy but they do the job and they are soft.
