The filter was relatively easy to install and insures the water is clean and pure.

This filter does not work. I used over 100 gallons of water to try to flush the carbon out. The water never ran clear. When I went back to a paper filter, it took close too another 100 gallons of water to flush the pipes. Do not buy this filter for a whole house system.

The top and bottom of the plastic part of the filter was cracked. They knew it was damaged because they repackaged it into another box and shipped it. The main part of the filter was usable.

I have ordered these for about one year and noticed that dust charcoal inside the filter is often found on the outside surface of the filter prior to using. Also, these filters have an internal sleeve that collapses on itself during use and this obstructs the filtration and proper water flow (see picture). In comparison, iSpring filters which I had used for several years previously never had this problem so I am switching back to iSpring filters even though they are more expensive.
