Reasonable alternative
First, let me just say that it's hard to find a sugar substitute that sweetens as well as the real thing and doesn't have an odd aftertaste. This Stevian Forte is similar to a lot of artificial sweeteners in that it too has an odd aftertaste. That said, it's a reasonable alternative in that it doesn't take a huge amount to sweeten and the cost is comparable to similar packet style alternatives. It is better mixed into something like a drink or cereal than just sprinkled over something. I can't say how well it works for cooking, but since these are packets, I wouldn't think they'd be ideal for that anyway. I don't use sweetener in my coffee but these do work well in hot tea and daughter #1 likes them in her coffee.

3 packets needed per one 8oz cup of coffee.
Arrived 9/1/21 fresh and undamaged with expiration date "04/2024." As of 9/2/21 you receive 40packets (1g packetsx40=40g or 2.4oz.) for $6.50 USD ($0.16/packet or $2.71/oz.) This size package at this price is what I'd call a sampling size to determine if you like it (not a reorder option.) The same seller currently offers a 400packet version for $16 USD ($0.04/packet or $0.67/oz.) which is a much more cost effective reorder option. (IMO) A sweetener basically has 5 taste tests (baked, as a topping over dry ingredients, mixed into dry ingredients, dissolved in hot liquid and mixed in cold liquids) in which it can perform and taste considerably different. I haven't tried this baked. As a topping over dry ingredients I'm not crazy about it (it tastes awful over grapefruit btw.) Mixed into unsweetened yogurt alternatives or unsweetened ice cream its decent. 1 packet of this doesn't cut it in my coffee (though I always needed 2 of an alternate blend brand (that listed erythritol/stevia/natural flavors as ingredients), 2 packets has an odd balance (in that it isn't sweet enough yet but has a slight odd taste), and 3packets finally seems sweet enough to also start covering up the slight odd taste. It dissolves well in hot or cold. I prefer pure stevia in my hot tea, but this seems to work well in cold mixes.

Palatable sugar substitute .... but not sure about the price
When I was young, I thumbed my nose at all things diet or sugar-free.Oh, how times have changed ....I've been around long enough to have gone through all the progressionsfrom the pink pack (Saccharin-yuck!), blue pack (Aspartame/Equal-embrace the bitterness),yellow pack (Splenda-getting better) and now the green pack (Stevia-almost there). This here with Stevia and erythritol combo is pretty good as sugar substitute, although I am not sure if it is better than Stevia alone. Taste matters but so does price.2,000 bulk price for pink - $22,2,000 bulk price for blue - $222,000 bulk price for yellow - $402,000 bulk price for green - $41+I don't know. I am not much of a baker but if Stevia and erythritol combo makes forbetter baking sweetner, it might be worth it to purchase appropriate amount for such uses.Otherwise, if the price of this product is not competitive with Stevia, I am sticking with Stevia or Splenda.

Good taste
This stevia sweetener has a great taste. The crystals are on the larger size if that makes a difference to you. They dissolve well. The packets are made of a thicker paper and are a little difficult at times to rip open.

Healthier sugar Alternative
I like to use these little packs in my coffee in the morning and I also like to add them to my tea in the afternoon. They are a much healthier alternative to table sugar and they do not raise your glycemic index or cause blood sugar issues like regular sugar can sometimes do. This is a great option for diabetics.I like the individualized packets that make it easy is easy to add without having to use any type of measuring spoons. They are also good for putting in your purse for when you are on the go and don't want to use the regular sugar the coffee shops have. I always keep a few of these with me for this occasion. It helps me make better choices throughout the day. Something to make note of is that this is not plain stevia. There is also erythritol added to this, which helps stretch it farther. I feel like adding this helps to smooth and mellow out the stevia, which can sometimes have a bitter after taste to it. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 star rating is because I feel like the price is a little steep, taking into consideration the amount of packets you receive. I feel like you can get a better deal in store.

I prefer Truvia, but this is pretty good.
I use this type of sweetener (erythritol/stevia blend) every single day, so I feel like I'm a good judge of this type of product. This Stevian Forte isn't bad - the taste is pretty neutral (it's a tad bitter right out of the packet) - and it has a concentrated sweetness, but there is no sugar/Stevian conversion chart (there should always be something that tells you how much to use to replace sugar). My guess is that one packet is like 2 tsp of sugar - that's what it tastes like to me. It dissolves well into my tea.An 80 ct. box of Truvia (twice the size of this box) is around $6 on Amazon, so there are better deals out there.
