I was a little concerned on buying this after reading about the issues with the box, in terms of how it was poorly made and not closing without issues.I have included several photos of how our arrived and it is very good. The type of plastic that the box is made from would not be that flexible and could be prone to damage. However it fully opens and closes with a firm locking mechanism to safely hold the screwdriver and many bits.The screwdriver itself holds each of the bits quite firmly, the magnetic aspect of that seems pretty strong. And the retention and fitting of each bit is good and firm.Its value will very much depend on your needs and what you are intending it for. Trying it out with a couple of appliances with tamper screws fitted it has been perfect and worked a treat. If I never needed to use it again it has more than paid for itself.As it is I can now put it away until I need it for a very particular job or leave it to be accessible and use my other std screw driver bits which fit the soft and comfortable to use handled screwdriver as a normal tool with more typical bits.Overall I'm very impressed with the quality and range of bits it comes with.I do hope that this review and photos has helped you.Happy shopping :)

Who does quality check before leaving factory for these draper tools I'd love to know, because he/she must be blindThe box won't close properly and handle has wear and tare yet I have not used them.Bad quality knobody at draper check for quality.

I bought this so I could pull apart my son’s PS4 in order to give it a much needed cleaning - it sounded like a jet engine playing more recent games, got very hot indeed and I suspect was costing a small fortune in electricity being turned into heat and noise. I’d seen other, cheaper sets, but the reviews of those made me think twice.Well, it was perfect! The bits stood up to the challenge well enough, the handle is comfortable to hold and I’m pretty sure there won’t be a security screw I can’t undo now. It’s a real shame, then, that the case it comes in is such a poor standard: the case doesn’t shut together properly and the lock is almost useless. Still, I can cope with that, as it’s a really decent set.

Bit set is the average supplied with most sub £10 kits. Would have been nice to have a torque screwdriver although it is grippy and not at all flimsy. The problem lays with the case itself with the case construction being adequate the clasp lets it down and doesn’t line up well. Nobody wants their bit set everywhere after packing it into your toolbox hence low stars.

Draper are one of the cheaper tools manufacturers, but they generally get the main artefacts correct. That's the case with this set of screwdriver bits, which look fine. I haven't used them yet, so can't comment on durability. What drives me bonkers, though, is the bubble-wrap packaging. I always feel as if I've been lucky not to rip my fingers to bits and I have to cut the bubble-wrap up into small pieces, to avoid then tearing the bin liner to shreds as well. On top of that is the box that holds the screwdriver bits. Again, we are in danger of tearing gashes on the ends of our fingers, trying to open and in this case, close the plastic box. Awesome bit of kit, it does what it says

A versatile little set of screw bits. Changed the central locking module on my VW which meant removing the door interior panels. The tools were very useful. I like the fact that the handle has a hole towards the base. You can stick a screwdriver through it to get extra torque. It helped me out when I came across a couple of tightly fastened screws. I had no issues of any of the bits breaking off. I'm glad I took the gamble to buy this budget value set. Can see myself using this again for jobs around the house and car.

Having had previous positive experiences of purchasing items via Amazon warehouse returns, I chose to do so with this set.Set arrived, nice little carry case, and full of bits to tackle the most common security fixings that I encounter on a daily basis.Opened set and .... grrrrrrrr.... the head of 1 bit was already sheared off, with the broken head still lying in the box. Obviously that was the reason for the previous customers return.I tried another bit on a security fixing to see if the overall quality ok... and it undid a stubborn fixing with ease.However, maybe there is an issue with the overall quality of the bits.
